Carlos POV:

I'm adding some songs onto my music playlist when I hear Mal burst in and be the looks of it, she was crying.

I open my arms and she immediately runs into them. She told me everything Ben did.

"That's it let it all out." I said in a soothing voice.

"Thank you." she says.

"No problem." I say. "Now are you sure you don't want me to set him on fire?"

"No, no, I'm okay." she said.

There was a silence brief silence until I broke it.

"I have a confession." I said.

"What is it?" Mal asks.

"I...I'm...I..." I stuttered. "You know what."

I grab the strawberry gummies and rummage through it until I find one that's slightly pinker than the others. I grab it then toss it into my mouth.

"I'm in love with you." I say.

Mal looks like she's been slapped. She remains frozen so I check on her.

"Mal," Carlos said "are you-" 

He was interrupted by Mal's lips smashing into his.
