Carlos was in his room tinkering when Mal came in and asked.
"What was that was about?" Mal asked
"I was sick and tired of the judging. That's all." Carlos replied
"All?" Mal asked.
"Fine," Carlos gave in. "I found out Audrey was cheating on me with Chad. I was still a little bit pissed off by Chad and Audrey and the way they talked to you just pushed me over the edge"
After Ben's Coronation
After Maleficent returned and Mal showed her true love for Ben, the VK's have been living crazy lives. Jay is now the captain of the ROAR team, Evie's business, Evie's 4Hearts, is keeping her busy 24/7, and Mal is being attacked by reporters every day for info on the Royal Cotillion. Carlos however, has disappeared and he's the primary target for news since they've interviewed all of the other VKs.
Mal was walking through Auradon Prep wondering where he could be. Why did he disappear?
All of a sudden, Mal is being attacked by a mob of reporters.
"Are you aware of the whereabouts of Carlos de Vil?" one asked.
"No." Mal answered
"If he were hiding, where would he be?" another asked.
"I don't know." Mal answered.
"When was the last time you saw him?" another one asked.
"King Ben's coronation. After his party, we couldn't find Carlos." Mal said with a sad look on her face.
"Are you sure you don't know where he is?" the first reporter asked.
"No!" Mal said angrily.
"Well, I do." said a familiar voice from the roof top.
"Who are you?" a reporter asked.
The man jumped down. It was Carlos!
"Remember me now?" he said with a grin on his face
"Carlos over here, Carlos, Carlos!" said the mob of reporters.
"Run" Carlos mouthed
Carlos POV:
"One at a time please." I said calmly.
"Where were you all this time?" asked a reporter
"I was always here, I just went off the grid for some time." Carlos replied.
"Why did you disappear?" asked another
"I just needed to find myself." Carlos replied. "After the craziness of Maleficent coming back, I just couldn't take all of the questions from the reporters but I'm good now."
"How did you get food and stuff without being seen?" asked another reporter.
"Fairy Godmother helped me. I asked her to not tell anyone." Carlos said."That's all the time I have for now here is my number so you can contact me if you have more questions." He handed each of the reporters a card with his phone number on it.
"Oh and also, please no paparazzi." Carlos said. "I'm not exactly comfortable with people following me everywhere I go."
