Lauren's POV:
"You'll love my new gaming vid. " Joey says as he joins me on the couch. I look at him confused as he takes my laptop. I watch him type something in the search box and then clicks on a video. I laugh as I watch his reaction to me winning.
"How did it feel to have your ass kicked by a girl?" I ask, laughing. He just glares at me playfully before rolling his eyes.
"Anyways, I was wondering if you wanted to go to Luke's party tonight?" Joey asks, handing me my laptop.
"Sure! I can make new friends there." I reply smiling. "I just need something to wear. "
"Then let's go shopping! "

I slip on my shoes before looking in the mirror. I pull the front strands of hair back and bobby pin them in place behind my head. I fix a few curls and smile at myself in the mirror.
"Come on. We don't want to be late!" Joey yells up the stairs.
"I'm coming!" I reply. I grab my clutch purse and walk down the stairs.
Joey's POV:
I glance over at Lauren in the passenger seat. She looks stunning. Oh how I want to kiss her so badly. But I don't think she feels the same way.
Lauren's POV:
I catch Joey looking at me and my cheeks start to burn. Do I like Joey? I mean, he is nice, his hair is perfect, he's funny, and his eyes! Oh my, I think I do like him!
