Lauren's POV:
We arrive at the party, and there's people outside on the lawn, talking and drinking. Joey gets out and opens my door for me. I thank him and follow him into the house.
"Hey Joey! Long time no see. " a light brown haired boy says. He walks over to Joey and hugs him.
"Hey Luke! Lauren, this is my BFF Luke, " Joey says. Luke smiles at me and waves.
"Nice to meet you Lauren, " Luke says, pulling me in for a hug.
"Nice to meet you too." I smile, as we pull away. A girl with dark brown hair walks over and hugs Joey.
"Hey Joey!" she says. She looks at me and smiles, "Hi, I'm Luke's girlfriend, Ingrid. "
"Hi, I'm Sawyer's cousin Lauren." I introduce myself. She hugs me and I hug back awkwardly. She lets go and stands next to Luke.
"I hope we can hang out sometime. " she says smiling.
"Me too." I smile back.
Joey's POV:
I introduced Lauren to Stacy, Connor, Kalel, Ricky, Kian, Cat, Justine, and Megan. Her and Megan really hit it off. They exchanged numbers before walking off together. I wander around for a bit, occasionally stopping for a brief conversation.
Lauren's POV:
I really like Megan. We exchange numbers and walk away from Joey. We head to the bar and get a couple drinks. We talk and get to know each other better. After a while, I start to lose track of how much I've had to drink.
