Lauren's POV:
*FLASHBACK*
"You are so disrespectful! You never do what I say when I tell you to!" Mom screams at me.
"I do do what you tell me to, you just don't seem to see it." I reply, tears streaming down my face. She shakes her head.
"No, now you're just lying to me. You're such a brat. You're worthless, " She says, grabbing a knife. I back away from her as she walks towards me. I feel my back hit the wall and I close my eyes. I feel the blade of the knife on my upper arm, a warm liquid following its path.
*END OF FLASHBACK*
I sob into Sawyer's chest as he calms me down.
