Joey’s POV:
I watch Lauren walk into the apartment.
“Hey!” I say. She doesn’t respond as she walks upstairs. I follow her. “Is something wrong? Lauren? ”
Lauren’s POV:
I walk into the bathroom and close the door behind me. I look in the mirror.
“What’s wrong?” I hear Joey ask, knocking on the door. I think about what Damion said at the mall, and it sinks in. I swing the door open.
“Joey, do you know where Sawyer is?” I ask, panic starting to set in.
“He was at Shane’s last I knew.” Joey replies. I pull out my phone and call Sawyer. Joey looks at me, concern covering his face. I start to get nervous as the dial tone keeps going.
