Lauren’s POV:
I look in the mirror and try to control the puffiness. I splash cold water on my face and dry it off before heading to Joey’s room. I knock on Joey’s door.
“Go away.” Joey says angrily.
“Joey, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean it like that.” I apologize. Panic! at the Disco starts playing really loud. Tears start rolling down my face again as I grab my keys and run out to my car. I quickly back out and start driving towards the one place I felt safe in LA.

I stare at LA from my spot in front of the Hollywood sign. Tears streaming down my face as I watch the city lights. My phone begins to ring and I answer it.
“Hello?” I ask.
“Olivia is in the hospital.”
Then the line goes dead.
