"Love, give me love, give me love. I don't need it but I'll take what I want from your heart and I'll keep it in a bag, in a box, put an X on the floor. Give me more, give me more, give me more. Shut up and sing it with me..."
Louis groggily blinked his eyes open, immediately regretting it as he screws them shut against the bright room. Keeping his eyes closed, he hauled himself into an upright position on his bed. He swung his legs over the edge of the bed and stretched his arms into the air- feeling content at the way his muscles popped awake from their sleep-like state. He rubbed the sleep out of his eyes as he made his way over to where the music was coming from.
This was a scene to take in. Zayn was in his black sweatpants and baggy grey top, buttering toast and swinging his hips to MCR on the music channel... but that wasn't the thing that caught Louis off guard. Zayn was singing. Ofcourse Louis had heard him sing before... but Zayn put so much heart and soul into the song; Louis had never seen Zayn so passionate about anything before.
Louis ran a hand through his knotted hair and began singing along to the words with Zayn, announcing his arrival. Zayn simply gave him a smile over his shoulder and before Louis knew it, Zayn threw a slice of toast at him as if it were a frisbee. It hit Louis square in the face and fell to the floor- soaking his face in butter and crumbs. Louis' jaw felt as if it had literally hit the floor. He blinked at him a few times, taking in what just happened.
"...what the heck was that?" Louis half hissed, half questioned. Zayn threw a teatowel in Louis' direction as he chuckled to himself.
"Breakfast. Enjoy" Once Louis had cleaned up his face, he threw the teatowel at the back of Zayn's head and put the toast from the floor in the bin. Louis grumbled to myself as he plopped onto the sofa, turning up the TV. He kicked his feet up and leaned back, relaxing. His sweatpants were dark grey and slightly too big for him, but they were cosy- he skillfully matched it with one of his old football shirts. He knew he could go out and buy pyjama's but this was much more his "style".
A vibration came from Zayn's phone on the kitchen counter. He momentarily stopped swaying to check the notification. Louis watched as Zayn's eyebrows shot up and a huge grin settled on his face. Curious, Louis sat upright.
"What?" Louis asked, genuinely interested. Zayn just shook his head and laughed. "What?" Louis persisted, practically bouncing where he was sat. He's not very patient and Zayn was beginning to aggravate him.
"It's not much. I get the notifications from our YouTube channel sent to my phone-" Louis opened his mouth to question why he didn't get them but Zayn held a finger in the air to silence him. "-I only learnt how to do it this morning. Someone commented asking if there's anyway people can talk to us, like through KiK messenger or something." Zayn looked over at Louis as he began smiling.
It would be fun to be able to get to know a few of the people who watch them make a fool of themselves. "Alright, what should we do?" Louis asked, gnawing on his thumbnail. It's a habit he has when he's thinking.
"I think we should set up a KiK account. We can both have a personal one or something?" Louis nodded, grabbing his phone off of the coffee table infront of him. He downloaded KiK from the app store and began creating an account. Zayn looked over at Louis at nearly the exact moment he looked at him. "What should my username be?"
"I was going to ask you the same thing..." Louis broke off into a small laugh. He thought about it for a while before settling on something simple "bandsandvans". It'll do. He continued setting up his account and then locked his phone and placed it on the coffee table. He threw my head over the back of the sofa before looking over at Zayn. "What's your name?"
