"Papa, when is she going to wake up?" the little prince asked, and I bolted upright, momentarily forgetting where I was.

"Whoa, easy there. How'd you sleep?" King Mhany asked, holding Prince Charlie.

"Like a rock. How long have I been asleep?" I yawned, looking around, and laying back down to stare up at the ceiling.

"A few days. Miss Elfeya said that you slipped into an enchanted sleep and that you'd wake once you had all of your magic."

"Miss Elfeya is here?" I questioned, feeling a heavy weight settle on my legs and I looked to see Branki on my legs.

"Yeah and so is everyone else."

"Branki! Cool. How long have they been here?"

"They arrived yesterday. They arrived a day early. Your pet here refused to leave your side, so I had to bring him food and water and clothes and place to use the restroom at. He is very loyal to you, but he is sad." King Mhany answered my questions and watched in surprise as I shifted to the Batsamic lioness again and started playing with Branki.

"Papa, I want to ride the kitty." Prince Charlie stated, trying to reach for me, and I leaped over and sat down, licking his hand.

"Can you give him a ride around Volnatia?" Mhany asked me and I nodded, my head and stood on all fours so he could get Charlie on my back and I walked toward the door with Branki following.

"Branki, can you hear me?" I whispered into Branki's thoughts, nearing a computer.

"Yeah. I am glad you can speak into my mind again. It was lonely. I don't think much as it is, when you are gone for your duties.

"I know. Where do we go to, Prince Charlie." I spoke aloud, my voice raspy as I used magic to actually speak.

"All over the place, if it is possible to do so." Charlie answered, grabbing fistfuls of my fur, and Branki and I galloped through a village, Charlie laughing the whole time. We ate food, rocks pelted my side, when I got to close, and we played for hours on end. Soon, it grew dark and we raced back to the palace, hungry, but tired.

"Did you have fun, Charlie?" Miss Elfeya asked, lifting him off my back so I could shift back, but got stuck. I couldn't shift back, and I collapsed onto the ground.

"What's wrong with Shy?" Charlie asked, patting my head.

"She's just been shifted for too long. It will get fixed with a shot once her doctor gets here. He forgot his supplies so he used the teleporter to teleport back home." Miss Elfeya answered, placing a bowl of food in front of me.

"She will be okay though, right?" Branki asked, concern in his posture.

"Yeah, totally. It's happened before. Not to her, but to her ancestors."

"Okay, Charlie. Let's go eat dinner." Branki sighed, leaving the room so I can eat the bowl of food.

"Hey, Shyla, here's your shot to make you human again." Spoke a doctor after my tenth bowl of meat was gone.

"Thanks." I spoke with magic, before laying back down on the floor.

"You shouldn't do that often. It drains your magical energy." the doctor stated after giving me the shot that made me instantly turn to alien.

"I did it twice. I feel fine. Thanks doc." I smiled, skipping to the kitchen with the bowl in my hands.

"Sure. I am going to get food as well."

"I am full but I should get some sleep soon or I will pass out somewhere. I wonder if they have like super warm rooms like my chambers in my palace." I wondered aloud, walking into the kitchens and spying Branki and the others.

"Hey Shy." Charlie shouted around a mouthful of food.

"Hey Charlie." I chuckled, handing the bowl to the chef and taking a seat at the table across from Charlie.

"Can we play some more tomorrow?" Charlie asked.

"No. Shyla needs to look over treaty and alliance papers with me tomorrow."  Mhany spoke entering the room.

"Okay. Sorry, kit, I can't. Maybe the day after before I leave to get prepared for the Day of the Alien Dance Race or something. I can't remember anymore. I need major sleep. Mhany is there any super warm rooms?" I asked, shivering a little bit.

"No but we can get extra blankets and I'm sure Branki will sleep on the bed like he usually does to keep you warm." Mhany answered, gesturing to a maid and whispering to her.

"Okay! I will wait until Branki is done eating and the maids are done with my room before I head off to bed. I am tired. Running around as a Batsamic lioness sure takes a lot of a girl. And there is the whole lot of people running and throwing rocks at me, not bothering to get close enough to 'save the prince before I ate him'" I snorted.

"People threw rocks at you?" Mhany questioned, anger lighting his eyes.

"Yeah. It didn't hit us because I was careful to avoid the flying rocks in a way that at least would keep your son safe from harm." I smiled, using my powers of persuasion to make it not such a big deal.

"Okay, well I am done eating, let's go to bed." Branki suggested shifting real quick and leading the way. I followed behind but not as quickly as he would've liked because he ran to the room and I chased after him and crawled under the blankets and fell asleep pretty fast.
