Lost and found- A Chessa Story

Chapter 3

Chances POV

When I came out of the bathroom Tessa was already asleep. I she still had her phone in her hand so I plugged it in for her. I tried to get comfortable on the air mattress and the next thing I know I'm asleep.

BANG!

I jolted awake and Tessa sat up. I rolled around and realized that the air mattress had popped. I looked up at Tessa and she was shaking.

Chance-"Are you okay?"

Tessa-"Yeah it just really scared me..."

I sat down on Tessa's bed and gave her a hug. She hugged me back and then dropped her arms.

Tessa-"If you want you can sleep with me, you know like- in my bed."

Chance-"Yeah, thanks. Are you sure?"

Tessa nodded her head and I found her staring at my shirtless body. She snapped out of her gaze when I laid down.

Chance-"Night T..."

Tessa-"Goodnight..."

Tessa's POV

I woke up on Chances bare chest and didn't bother to move. I will admit, I liked it. But we were just friends. I don't know if I can trust anyone after what Jordan did to me. But I still think I might like him...

Jumping out of bed I noticed Chances body , wow. I ran into the bathroom and began to start my makeup. I first applied foundation and concealer, then I roped it off with some contour, mascara, and lipstick. Proudly, I looked at my smiling reflection, admiring my makeup. When I walked out of the bathroom I saw Chance sitting up in my- well our bed. Realizing I was just in shorts and a sports bra I crossed my arms.

Chance-"So since we are like- you know, staying together, we should get to know each other."

Tessa-"That's a great idea, how about we grab lunch at the cafe on 4th street!"

Chance-"Sounds great, want to make breakfast for team 10?"

I nodded my head and threw on a big team ten shirt. Chance was still shirtless and I couldn't help but stare.

Chance-"Like whatcha see?"

Tessa-"Hahahha no I was just thinking."

I can't believe he almost caught me and I am so embarrassed right now. I think I may have a really tiny little crush on Chance. He opened the bedroom door for me and I couldn't wait for breakfast! I bounced down the steps and decided to make pancakes.

Chance-"You know that you put way too much flour in there right?!?"

I took a handful of flour and threw it at Chance. He looked surprised and then picked me up. I wrapped my hands around his neck screaming. Chance began to run and he jumped straight in to the lagoon holding me. I stood up laughing and I found our eyes locked. He was smiling and I felt like the world had stopped I was about to lean in when Chance picked me up.

Tessa-"Huh?"

Chance-"what?"
