Lost and found- A Chessa Story

Chapter 12

Tessa's POV

I heard the bedroom door open and figured it was Chance. Looking up I saw Erika with a confused look on her face.

Erika-"Pickle, what happened?"

Tessa-"Am I fat? Really?"

Erika looked at me and I knew she knew.

Erika-"That little b-"

Tessa-"Stop! I don't want to ruin Chance and I's friendship!"

Erika-"Fine but one more thing and she will be gone!"

I sat up and thought about what happened. I heard my phone ding and saw my mom had texted me.

Mom-"Happy early birthday! I know it is in two days but I wanted to say it first..."

Tessa-"Thanks mom!"

I had completely forgotten about my 18th birthday! I still needed to plan a party. I rushed into the office and found Jake.

Tessa-"Do look my birthday is I two days and I want to have my party here at the team ten house!"

Jake-"Sure Tessa! Can I help?"

Tessa-"Yup, just invite everyone! And I mean everyone!"

Bursting out of the office I screamed at team ten telling then about my party. Then I asked the team ten group chat if anyone wanted to come to target with me.

Tessa-"Anybody wanna come to target with me?"

Erika-"Sry I can't have a photo shoot."

Nick-"No I have work stuff"

Chance-"Sure I will be in the car!"

Oh my gosh! I get to go with Chance! This is literally the best day ever! I grabbed my wallet and ran to the car. I went to open the passengers seat and found Camryn?!

I shut the door not thinking and just walked to the back. I thought I was driving, after all it is my car. The whole ride to target was awkward silence and I haven't said a word. Chance picked be up, placing me in a shopping cart and Camryn looked mad. I began to sing songs with Chance as he pushed me around in the shopping cart. Once we were ready to leave, Camryn ran to the bathroom and I sat down on a bench attempting, to avoid Chance.

Chance-"What's wrong? You have been avoiding me all day and I don't know what I did..."

Tessa-"Oh. My. Gosh. Look, if you seriously are that blind then I guess you will have to live without knowing what happened!"

Chance-"Tessa can you please just tell me!?"

Tessa-"Did you ever think that maybe I'm mad at you for something stupid, and that maybe I'm not really mad at you, I'm mad at someone else."
