Chapter 18

Chances POV

I felt so bad for kissing Camryn right in front of Tessa after we, well you know. I pushed Camryn off of me and she looked really confused.

Chance-"Im sorry it's just that Tessa-"

Camryn-"Everything is always about Tessa! Tessa this and Tessa that! Do you even love me still or ami just awaiting my time?!"

Chance-"I like you but-"

I felt a sting of pain collide with my cheek and saw Erika with cold eyes.

Erika-"How could you do this to Tessa! You mean so much to her, and you just go around with other girls! Like what the heck! You should consider yourself lucky if she ever even looks at you again!"

Camryn-"Back off! Tessa was just a distraction and I love Chance! Just stop interfering and go back to Tessa!"

I was done, I walked away while Erika was pretty much beating up Camryn, wow that girl is strong! I walked upstairs and peeked into Tessa's room, where I found her crying, hitting her pillow. She looked up and saw me in the door way.

Tessa-"GET OUT!!!"

She slammed the door in my face and I banged on it.

Chance-"Tessa? can we please talk!?"

Tessa-"I didn't know you could talk while making out with Camryn!!"

Chance-"You have ten seconds or I'm coming in!"

I put in her door code and it didn't work. I tried it again and it finally opened and I ran over to Tessa wrapping my arms around her.

Chance-"Tessa, I have mixed feelings about everyone right now and I don't need a relationship. It doesn't mean I don't love you, it just means that I want to not be tied down and have some fun. I'm so sorry if I lead you on, but I was really drunk last night and let my feelings get the best of me. Can we please be friends again?"

Tessa-"Umm, fine I guess. But do you like Camryn? I'm sorry but I need to know..."

Chance-"I honestly don't know, everything's confusing right now. So how about we forget all of this?"

Tessa faint smiled and pulled me into a hug. I don't deserve a friend as amazing and cute as her.

Chance-"so I will see you later T alright?"

Tessa-"Sure, but you can stay if you want. I'm gonna to watch mean girls on Netflix!"

Chance-"Why not?!"

I hopped into bed next to Tessa bad we sort of half cuddled. It was sweet but just friendly, and I made sure of it.
