"Take care, dear." My mom spoke softly before kissing my forehead and I felt myself smile at her gesture.

"Yes, Eomma." I waved her goodbye and started walking back home. The weather was nice and only a few people were seen enjoying the day outside.

My gaze remained fixed on the happy strangers and suddenly my mind wandered back to Yoongi. I stopped right in front of the door before opening it slowly.

Everything seemed to be quiet.

I took a step inside and looked around. The house looked the same as yesterday but it strangely seemed empty. Almost as if something was missing.

I walked a bit further and my gaze fell upon a smiling Yoona sitting right beside Yoongi. "Yoona?" My voice cracked a bit but I managed to maintain my firm posture. The corner of her lips raised due to my surprised expression while Yoongi got up and walked past me.

"I'm going out with Yoona." Yoongi spoke shortly before disappearing from my field of vision. The only sound heard was the door closing. Yoona got up and took a few steps closer to where I was standing.

"I saw you two at the restaurant." She said slowly, a smirk on her lips. "I already told you to stay away from him didn't I?" I looked at her in disbelief.

"We have a contract, Yoona. I can't stay awa-" She raised her hand and I immediately shut my mouth. "It's either him or our friendship." She spat before folding her arms over her chest.

My face became pale at her choice of words and I felt something strange in the pit of my stomach. It was as if I had lost all my strength and my mind couldn't reason at all.

I stared back at her expressionless. I wasn't willing to give up my happiness because of her. She finally showed her true self and I was sure I didn't want someone like her near me.

Before I could speak Yoongi appeared and grabbed Yoona's hand. He looked at me as if he wanted to say something but his mouth remained shut. Instead, he turned his back to me and walked out with her.

I couldn't be weak right? Why would I step back and give Yoona what she wanted? She doesn't have true feelings for him and I need to tell him the truth.

I walked out and spotted them walking a bit further from the house. I closed the door and began walking behind them.

I kept some distance so that I could go unnoticed and soon realized that they were going to the park.

"Y/n?" A familiar voice sounded behind me and I stopped on my tracks. Slowly turning around, I faced a confused Jae. "What are you doing here?" I looked over my shoulder and Yoongi was slowly turning on the direction I was standing with Jae.

I grabbed his hand and pulled him behind the nearest tree. "What's going on?" He spoke again but I motioned him to be quiet and leaned over to look where Yoongi and Yoona were.

My eyes widened at the sight of them both kissing. I felt a lump in my throat and couldn't utter a single word. Instead I walked away leaving a stunned Jae behind.

"Wait!" I heard him call for me but I didn't have the strength to look back. I was almost at the door of the house when I felt him grab my arm. "What happened?" His voice sounded concerned as he looked for any hint on my eyes.

My lips were pressed into a firm line as I opened the door and finally turned around to face him. "Stop running away and tell me what's going on." He pleaded and I shook my head.

"I have nothing to tell you." I muttered before closing the door and leaning my back against it. I heard a kick on the door from the other side and my eyes filled with tears. I heard him walk away and closed my eyes immediately regretting my previous actions.

Forgive me for pushing you away every time you want to be near me, Jae.
