"Cold lips came crashing onto mine but I felt warm."

His eyes roamed through the paper and his body went stiff. His face with nothing but shock written in it.

"What's this?" I was at a loss of words.

Jae raised his head to look at me and I finally had a better look of his eyes. His eyes seemed sad for some reason.

When I opened my mouth to say something he grabbed my hand and pushed me away from the group of people that started to gather around us. I struggled to keep up with his fast pace and we finally managed to find a place quiet enough for us to talk without people around us.

I kept my head down, unable to face him. All of my courage suddenly went away. But I should've known better that dating under a contract would lead to many obstacles and misunderstandings.

I was blind enough to still agree to it when everything seemed to prevent me from doing it. Now I had to deal with my own mistakes.

"You've been running away from the truth. It's time to face it." His voice breaks the silence and I frown at him. "What?"

"You've been hiding everything from me y/n. Your relationship, your feelings." He pauses for a second and I feel his words hit me like a giant rock. Breaking everything that's left. "I think I deserve some explanations after seeing a photo of us on the front page of a fucking magazine."

His face remained serious as he went on. "What's going on between you and Yoongi?" I opened my mouth to speak but he raised his hand to prevent me from doing so. "Either you be honest with me or you can forget that we ever had any type of connection."

The walls that held me up and made me strong just collapsed and I feel the tears running down my cheek. My body is trembling and I'm trying to find a way to stop it while my hands clutch at his jacket.

"I'm sorry." I sob into his chest while tears soak his shirt. I managed to slowly pull away from him before I collapse again over my own misery.

"I'm sorry for hiding everything from you." A sigh escapes from my lips and he stares at me waiting for me to say something more. "It's hard to explain. I really wanted to tell you but I never had the courage to. I mean, the right moment never came up so I kept avoiding it as much as I could."

His face seem to soften and he nods, taking in every word I just said. "I have a dating contract with Y-"

Suddenly I was pulled into a warm embrace and soft lips came crashing into mine catching me by surprise. I stare at Yoongi with wide eyes as he holds me firmly against him and presses his mouth over mine.

I press my hands against his chest to pull him away but he keeps me close. He finally breaks the kiss and leans in, so his forehead rests against mine.

He closes his eyes for brief seconds. Our breaths shaking. "Why did you do that?" I say in barely more than a whisper. "I did it so you don't end what's going on between us." He replies, his voice low and husky.

I barely have time to take in his words when his body is roughly pushed away from mine and a punch is thrown at his face.

"You hurt her." He growls and Yoongi is fast enough to divert from Jae's second punch throwing one against his jaw. "Mind your own business." Yoongi says through clenched teeth and I grab his hand before he could throw another punch at Jae.

"Stop." I pleaded through watery eyes and he stares at me before clenching his fists. " Come with me." He whispers and starts dragging me away from Jae.

"About that photo." I said in a low whisper when he closed the door and went to the living room. "It's not what you-"

"Shut up." He turns around to look at me and I press my lips into a firm line. "What?" His lips curl up in a side smile as he slowly approached me.

"I like you y/n." He says. "I realized it a long ago but I was coward enough to run away from my feelings." His eyes are so different in moments like these, more soft than I knew eyes could be.

If it were anyone else I would drop my gaze, but with him I'm drawn in closer, and I find myself always wanting more.

"Yoongi we-" He takes a few steps closer making me inch back, my body falling over the sofa and he takes advantage resting both of his hands on each side of my body.

"Do you remember about our deal?" He stares deeply into my eyes and I'm distracted for brief seconds before gazing back at him with a confused expression. "You have to do everything I want." He leans closer, brushing his lips gently against mine.

I slowly nod my head and he smiles. "I want you to marry me."
