Hey guys! sorry for the long delay with this one things were pretty hectic but I finally managed to get this all finished ^^ this was requested by sorceress-lay this one was really fun although a little unorthodox from my usual fics with the idea I hope that it's still okay though!

Also before I head off I just wanted to say that if any of you are Minecraft story mode fans or know anyone who is please take a gander at my latest story it would really mean a lot to me because I'd love to start making content on it but sadly i really don't have many good ideas so requesting something on there would mean the absolute world to me ;w;

Anyways sorry for rambling! please enjoy~!

"I'm just saying I could probably make a decent mage don't you think?"

You pulled your attention away from your notebook upon hearing Nerris huff as her head appeared from behind the thick shrubbery she was searching through, shaking her head as she raised a hand to wave off the idea. "No way it doesn't suit you - besides I'm the mage here we need to find a class that will balance our stats" she retorted, jabbing a thumb at herself before ducking back out of your view once more.

You hummed in thought at her reply, bringing your pen back down to your notebook and scribbling out the word 'mage' you'd wrote on there earlier, adding it to the pile of rejected ideas with a pout as your eyes scanned over the remaining titles. The two of you had been at this for a while, with you listing off possible classes and Nerris telling you whether they do or don't suit you, and whilst all of them thus far had been a no-go you were still just as determined to keep trying to find a class that actually fit you. With that being said your attention was gradually drifting from the notebook to instead watch Nerris continue with her search, perking up every time she came back into your view before ducking back down into the bushes again and again; her search for this 'elusive item' (which in reality was just some kind of flower the pair of you had spotted the last time David had took the campers hiking) was thus far going unsuccessfully but that didn't mean she was going to give up so soon - when she set her mind to do something she'd get it done by pure will to do it alone and that was something you definitely admired even if it did get you roped up into things too in the process.

"Ooh! How about a warrior?!" she yelled out from behind the shrubbery and you considered the option for a moment before ultimately shaking your head.

"No I don't really see myself as the valiant fighter type, maybe something else?"

"Okay, okay we'll come up with something else!" Nerris chirped out and you nodded in agreement even though she couldn't exactly see you from her position, turning your attention back to your notepad with a inaudible sigh as you scribbled out another title off of the list.

Twirling the pen in your hand you stared down at the paper for a while, expression formed into a confused frown as you tried to come up with another, more fitting title, however at the rate things were going you were far worse at this than you'd first thought; it was fine though, after all you guys had plenty of time before you-

*Thunk!!!*

You jolted at the sudden noise with a yell, knocking off everything on your lap in the process as your attention snapped over to the bushes where all signs of movement which had previously been there have stilled entirely. A few tense moments passed as you stilled, your mind registering exactly where the noise had come from before you rose up from your space and shuffled hesitantly over to the area when Nerris was supposed to be, pausing for a moment before slowly peeking over the waves of bushes blocking your path.
