25. Crying And Promises

I woke up to movement on Ryan's side of my bed. Or lately, our bed. I saw that Ryan was tossing and turning with sweat dripping down his forehead to his neck.

I sat up and tried to wake him up. I slapped his face a few times, but it wasn't working. I sighed, I brought my hand back and slapped his face. Hard. He was jolted awake and looked back and forth until his pale gray eyes made contact with my worried blue-green ones.

He grabbed my face and kissed me deeply.

"Ry, baby, what's wrong? Are you okay?" I broke the kiss. He shook his head, frantically.

"I-It was horrible." He broke down in sobs.

I hugged him, tightly.

"Do you want to talk about it?" I asked he nodded.

"Isaac and his gang had kidnapped you. And they held you, hostage. T-They had me and Jake go and get y-you and D-Demi. He held a gun to your head and threatened me to ki-kill you or he'd do it. I couldn't do it, so I tried to save you. He shot you." He whimpered. I gasped and hugged him. I kissed him, urgently. Letting him know I was okay and in his arms.

He wrapped his arms around my naked waist, and pulled me back down, so I was laying on his chest.

"I love you, so much. I don't know what I would do if I never met you, o-or didn't come back, or if Casey had gotten me, or i-,"

I cut him off by kissing him again. I shook my head, "Don't think like that. I'm just glad the opposite of those things happened. We did meet and it turned out amazing, you did come back and I'm so glad you did, and she didn't get you. Because you belong to me." I slammed my lips on his. He kissed with so much fiery passion, I started getting dizzy. He carried on and kissed my neck.

"We can't. You're still sore and so am I. I don't want to turn into some sex-crazed boyfriend. That lives to make love to his beautiful lover." He smiled at me. I nodded with a grin on my face.

Even though, it doesn't sound too bad. He's right. I thought.

"I have something to ask you." He told me. "Okay, spill the beans."

"I wanted to know if you wanted to be with me for a long time?"

"Of course, babe," I answered.

He reached over into his pants and pulled out a dark blue box and opened it.

"This is not a wedding ring, yet. But a mere gift of my love, to my love. Will you accept my promise to make you the happiest girl alive?" He 'proposed'.

"Yes. I do. Yes!" I cried. I hugged him for the umpteenth time. He slid the ring on my right ring finger.

"I love you." He spoke gently. "I love you, too." We shared a very relaxing cuddle time. We cuddled and watched a bunch of sappy, romance movies. Then we decided to watch a lot of adventure and comedy movies in the theater room. After our laughter died down, Demi and Jay had come down and joined us. Having a cuddle session of their own.

"Let's get some snacks and watch a comedy, yeah?" Jake amusedly asked.

"Yeah!" We nodded. We all got up and ran to go and get snacks, food, drinks, and candies. We came back and all pigged out.

"Hey guys, remember that puppy I got for my 18th?" I asked them.

"Uh, yeah?"

"Let's go and buy him back again." I squealed. They all gave me confused glances.

"I couldn't take care of the puppy at the time, so I went and gave it to the ASPCA and asked then to hold him for me, duh."

"Oh, okay. Let's go, baby." Ryan kissed my forehead.
