1. Date Night
"Oh my goodness, Noah! Rumor has it, Ryan came to your house and you guys were alone." Allyson, my best friend, said with a wink as I walked up to my group of friends.
"What?! No, we were not!" I said a little too loudly. Now I had the whole hallway staring at us.
"Continue on with your day!" I shouted.
Everyone resumed their talking, getting things in and out of their lockers, kissing, etc.
"That is not true." I lowered my voice. As I'm saying this, I can feel someone staring at me. I turn and look around but see no one looking this way.
Weird?
"Whats weird?" Amanda, another one of my friends, questions.
"Umm, you know what? Nothing's weird..." I trail off. Now the whole group was staring at me.
Just great.
"Well, there's the bell. I'll see you guys at lunch. Bye." I say.
Chelsea, Demi, and I always walk together to first block, since we share that class.
I took my spot in the middle of the room next to Chelsea and Demi. Demi is on my right, and Chelsea is on my left.
"Today class, we are getting into the mi-" Mr. Haft was interrupted by a group of chuckling boys in the back of the room.
"Is there anything you boys would like to share?" He asked the group. A tall boy with dark brown hair and green eyes stands up. Kevin Yorkk...
Woah, he's hot.
He looks at me staring and winks, which makes me blush.
"Actually, we were talking about asking a few beautiful girls out on a date on this gorgeous, Friday evening." He and two other very gorgeous guys stand up but look at Chelsea and Demi.
All the girls in the class are giving us death glares appose to the girls sitting behind and in front of us, thinking they were looking at them.
All three boys got up and walked over to me and my best friends.
"Would you, Noah Lake, go on a date with me this Friday night?" He got on one knee and smiled widely. I grinned at the very sweet gesture.
"Sure," I smiled. If it was possible, he got even hotter. His smile turned into the biggest grin I've ever seen on a boy before.
"Thank you, Noah." He slipped a piece of paper in my hand and left a gentle kiss on my knuckle.
He made his way back to his seat, so did the other two boys.
{46 Minutes Later}
After class ended, I scurried off to the library for free period. I unraveled the note and read it.
"Dear Noah,
Meet me after school by the blue Chevy Camaro. See you after school. I'll be dropping you off at your house, so you can get ready for our date tonight. Dress casual;)
Text me: 555-5555
From, Kevin"
"Wow," I smiled.
That whole period consisted of me daydreaming about Kevin.
{End Of School Day}
I made my way outside and spotted the blue Camaro. I paced over to it to find Kevin with a bundle of roses in his hand.
"For you malady." He does a bow.
"Thank you." I look down and blush. His finger makes its way down to my chin and lifts it up.
"Hey. Don't hide your blush from me, I think its cute." He smiles at me.
He hands me the roses and I smell them.
God, these smell good. But he may smell even better.
The drive home was silent but it wasn't awkward, it was sort of comfortable.
I enjoyed it.
As soon as I got home, I ran to my room. I raced to my closet and picked out a pair of shorts with a blue shirt that says Free Hugs (; and also picked out some sneakers.
I put on my selected outfit and I put on some mascara and chapstick.
As soon as I put my make-up case away, I heard a honk outside. I looked out of my oversized window and saw Kevin's blue Camaro.
I ran down my large staircase and out the front door. I jogged over to my side to find him opening the door for me.
"Thank you." I smiled at him. He was dressed in dark blue jeans, a gray shirt that hugged his muscles, and silver and blue Nikes.
"Hey, girl!" I heard a voice from behind me. I turned and saw Demi and Chelsee with the two boys that asked them on a date. "Hi!" I smiled brightly. They looked awfully cramped in the backseat...
"Well, girls. We are going to..." The boy with black hair which I learned to be Jacob, started off.
"The fair!" Kevin finished. The girls and I shouted in celebration.
I've actually never been to a fair. Or the carnival, festival, etc.
"You havent?!" Kevin shrieked.
Did I say that aloud? I have to stop that.
"No, I havent." I smiled sheepishly.
"Well, I'm going to show you some good old fun." He grinned showing his teeth.
{At the fair}
We bought 60 tickets for each pair. Demi and Jacob went right. Chelsea and Gregg went left. So, we decided to go straight.
He put his arm around my shoulder and pulled me closer to his warm body.
"So, what do you want to do first?" He smiled. I looked around and pointed to the biggest rollercoaster here. "That one." I squealed.
"Umm, you sure?" He sounded unsure. "Yeah, it'll be fun." I noticed he started blushing.
{end}
