14. Cheating Is Bad

My brain felt like it had shutdown. My heart was numb. My legs felt like they couldn't hold me up. My arms felt like they were disconnected from my body. My head was spinning. But in all this, I truly felt like I had lost everything.

But my most important priority right now was going to get Demi.

I stared straight ahead and walked past Kevin. I walked into the screening room with a blank expression. I grabbed Demi quickly and apologized to Jake.

"I'm sorry Jake, but I need Demi real quick." My voice cracked badly. A tear ran down my face and Jake got up.

He hugged me and said, "If she goes, I go. I care about you just as much as Demi does. You have to tell me why so I can help you too. I may not have known you long, but I still love you. In a friend way." Another tear ran down my face, as I hugged him back.

They both escorted me upstairs while tears ran down my face many at a time. Kevin just stared at me. He kept his face devoid of emotion, while I just looked down, as I walked up the stairs.

"Wait, Noah I-"

"Save it, Kevin. Just leave. Please." I pointed to the door.

"Babe, I'm sorry." He took a step closer.

"I wanna know, how long? And with who?" My voice cracked and tears spilled out more.

He looked down and said, "Amanda and Mandie. The whole time." He whispered.

"What happened to Can you give me another chance? I promise I won't fuck it up.'Huh, Kevin? What happened to it?! Was it because I wasn't good enough? Why the hell did you do it?!" I cried. Although I was no better, I just cheated on him with Ryan.

"I don't know."

"Just, please, leave." I walked upstairs into my room with Jake and Demi trailing behind me.

"First off, what happened between you and Ryan?" Demi asked. As soon as I heard Ryan's name, my mood was instantly a tad bit brighter.

I told her what about happened between Ryan and me, and then told her what I found out about Kevin.

"I'm gonna cut his balls off!" Jake screamed. I stood up and hugged him.

"Please. Don't." I begged as he hugged me back. I let go and went to hug Demi tightly.

"I'll be back, I need a breather. This is a lot of drama, I'm a guy. I'm not used to this." Jake chuckled. We chuckled at him and we got back to business.

"That's not fair to you. He cheated the whole time. You only did it at the end and it wasn't constant. But you are just as guilty as him." She frowned. I nodded my head, notifying that I understood.

I texted Ryan and asked him to come over, like 5 minutes ago, but he should have been here by now.

As if on cue, we heard shouting outside. I jumped up and looked out my window and saw Ryan shouting at Kevin and vice-versa.

I ran out my room, down my stairs, and out my front door to get Ryan. Kevin stared at me incredulously, as I ran over to Ryan and grabbed his waist pulling him back with all my might. I managed to move him an inch, but not before Kevin hit him.

My mouth dropped open and I begged Ryan not to do anything to him. But all he did was remove my hands from his waist and whipped around to leave a horrible bruise on his jaw.

I turned Ryan around and hugged him tightly. I saw a shadow loom over us, more like me, I opened my eyes and I saw Kevin stand up and give the death glare to the back of Ryan's head.
