4. Cheating Hurts
It was supposed to be 98 out today. I got dressed in white shorts and a pink tank top.
I grabbed my backpack and jogged downstairs grabbing a piece of toast I made earlier and made my way to my car.
Five minutes later, I pulled up to my school. I saw that Kevin was hanging with his friends. When I pulled up, he waved to me. He walked over to my car and helped me out of the car.
"Hey, babe." He smiled, then pecked my cheek. "Hi," I grinned.
"Hi, Kevin." Mandie fluttered her eyelashes and waved. He looked at her and cringed.
Stupid whore. She just didn't get when she was unwanted.
The school day went by pretty fast and that I'm grateful for. My friends kept bugging me about the formal tonight. I told them I'd call and let them know.
After I got my things out of my locker, I left out of the building to my car. But, I see something that makes me rethink my decisions.
Kevin and Amanda kissing on my car.
Amanda is one of the Barbies. The Barbies are like the Plastics, but worst. There are seven of them. The worst one is Grace Kaminski. The most horrible group of people I can think of.
I walk up to my car and they stop kissing. Kevin looks at me and so does Amanda.
"I'll see you later." Amanda kissed his neck and walked away. I looked at him and pushed him as hard as I could.
If only I could do so much more. I'd kick him so hard in his man parts or a purple-nurple or punch him in the neck. As long as he was experiencing as much pain as I was in that moment.
"What the hell is your problem?" I got in my car and sped off to my house.
That bastard! I, so badly, wish I could hate him. I really do, this would make things so much easier.
He left a voice message. Again.
I will not be walked on by a boy. This is not happening. And it won't happen.
I ran to my closet picked out a long, black dress I bought with my friends.
I'm going to that formal.

I walked into the school with Allison and Demi by my sides. This is gonna be fun.

A beautiful girl with two other girls walked into the school. The one in the black dress is absolutely stunning. But she is so familiar.
Her hair was in loose curls and that dress looked perfect on her. She is gorgeous.
"Dude? Quit staring." Tyler interrupted my thoughts.
"Huh?" I asked dumbfounded.
"You're staring.." The mystery girl and her friends walked in like they owned the place. I probably should stop staring before I get caught.
"I'll be back," I told him. I found myself walking over to ask her to dance but, Grace got in my way.
"Hey, big boy." She purred disgustingly.
"Go away!" I told her.
"Oh come on, we can have a little fun. If you know what I mean," She tried to convinced me.
"Now is not the time, Grace!" I shouted at her. She turned and left swaying her hips.
By the time I looked up, looking for the mystery girl, she was gone.
Damnit! Grace, you slut! I shouted in my head.

I was watching him intensely. Like a shark and its prey. He was looking straight at Noah with passion. Before he made it to her, I stepped in and used my charm on him. Which, surprisingly, didn't work. Normally, it does.
What is so great about her that I don't have?
I'm gonna find out and when I do, it probably won't even be that great.

The whole time at formal, I felt as though I was being watched. That was the only part, though, other than that. I had a blast!
When I got home, I took a shower, put on some PJs, and slept like a baby.
Ahhh, sleep. It is truly amazing.
{Friday morning}
I woke up to birds singing and fresh air. I have felt so much better the rest of the week. I got to spend time with Ryan Penh. He so familiar, but I can't put my finger on it?
We went out to Starbucks and had a coffee date. He is so sweet and super cute!
I feel as though I'm moving on too quickly. I feel like a slut for being with two guys within two weeks. What if Ryan thinks I'm a slut? Or worse? Or maybe I'm just being paranoid?
I got up and did my morning routine, losing the thoughts lounging in my head. I hopped downstairs and ate breakfast. Nutella on pancakes and toast. This is truly what Heaven was.
I ran upstairs, getting dressed in shorts, a t-shirt, and sneakers. I grab my keys and was about to head out before I realized my dad was home. I told him bye and left the house. It turns out that I was getting a ride from Ryan.
When we got to school, everyone stared at us.
As we walk into school, there is a banner that read, Take me back, please? with Kevin under it.
"No," I rejected. "You kissed another girl. Do you think after that, I would take you back?" I said to him.
"Yes? No? Maybe, I just-" He flinched.
"No, I won't! I am not going to be stepped on repeatedly by a cheating bastard! I'm done with you I've got nothing, absolutely nothing, to say to you anymore." I told him.
That felt good.
I walked away and went to my locker and got my 1st-period binders and books. I walked to my class and on the way I found Ryan.
"Hey, are you okay?" He asked. I smiled at his worried face. It was actually kind-of adorable.
"Yeah, after that, I feel so much better. Thanks for asking." I hugged him. He looked down and poked my forehead.
"Alright, get to class!" He impersonated a teacher.
"See you Ryan," I smiled. A real genuine smile.
{end}
