The End

I think I made a mistake,

I think I chose the wrong title,

For this chapter has ended,

Without you nothing left.

Along with your love,

Disappeared in a blur,

in the darkness of the sadness,

As the wolf got over the moon.

The end of it was clear,

as the ripples in the water disappear,

not a comma, neither a semi-colon,

but a period, a dot in the end.

I was so hung up looking at your back,

waiting for you to turn back,

day dreaming of the day you'll come back,

until the day you I never saw your back.

I wished, I prayed, I hoped, I dreamt of you to read this,

that someday you'll walk towards me again,

in a hopeless case like me, 

I'm hurt that this'll be the end of it.

 I tried to convince myself,

I was over you, and over and over,

but I guess I wasn't,

until now.

I tried to put the dot in end,

several times you may ask,

But I always end up leaving a space,

a small faith for you to come back.

I looked at other men,

but there was none like you,

none, 

I was heart broken.

I ended up breaking others,

clinging onto others,

longing for attention,

like the way you did to me.

I was lost,

No,

I was never lost,

I just closed my eyes.

I was afraid that if I opened them,

finally seeing no you,

Salt water will come,

that'll sting the wounds I've made.

But I guess it's already the time,

Eyes are wide open,

there was no you,

just me, only me.

God gave me strength,

enough to open my eyes again,

enough to bare the sting, the salt water feels,

enough to put a dot.

Now I hear complete silence,

and my heart is at peace,

I'll let go,

for real this time.

Good bye,

Until never,
