author's note »
Guys, I'd like to remind and clarify to you that this story is not an a.u. Yet, the story at the moment is still talking about Niall before he went for an audition on the X Factor but don't worry, it wont take too long. We'll get and catch up to the present time which he's in One Direction now. :) By the way, I'm dedicating chapter/s to whoever I want or would ask for it. Lol.
And now, I'm dedicating this chapter to @Beeky_ because she's lovely. ☺

Thalia's POV
Our professor announces that the class for today is over now while she closes her Science book. Then the school bell rings.
As soon as my Science classmates start to pile out of the room, I'm still in my seat, fishing my Science book, notebook, and pen inside my bag. I'm just about to stand up when a classmate of mine approaches me. It's Alliyah. Oh, right.
"Hey." She greets me.
"Oh, hi." I smile weakly at her.
"Are you free this weekend?" She asks while we are both walking outside the room.
"Uhm, maybe. Why?"
"I'm throwing a party on Saturday evening." She tells me. I furrow my brows at her, waiting for a follow up answer. "It's my 16th birthday."
"Oh? Oh." We're not friends but I'm friendly to her, to all. She is friendly, as well. Plus, we're classmates in this class. And this is the reason on how Niall noticed her and eventually, likes her. But I don't want to be near her or be her friend. I don't know why but it's like something inside of me that wants to stay away from her. I can't say that I don't like her but my inner voice is telling me that I do. What?
"Yes!" She practically babbles. "And I want you to be there. And Niall, too!" Oh, right. I'm waiting for her to mention Niall. Wait! How did she know Niall's name? Ugh, whatever. "Please?"
"I'll think about it." I smile at her. Now, I'm heading to my locker.
"Sure! But I'm really looking forward for you to be there." She smiles. "You know, I've always wanted to be friends with you."
"Aww, thanks." I utter because I don't know what else to say. And I don't want to be mean to her.
"Yeah." She smiles once again. "So, I have to go?" She states but it sounds like a question. She doesn't wait for a reply from me, she just go then.
It's lunch time. Where is Niall? It feels so uncomfortable not having him around me. The last time I saw him was earlier this morning. Bbrrrr. Oh, stomach. So instead of thinking where could he be right now, I decide to have a lunch.
All of a sudden, while I am walking, someone pokes me twice on my side. Niall. I'm sure, it's him.
"Niall, don―" I'm cut off by my own words as I turn around and see Marc. Why. And. What. On. Earth?
"Hi." A huge smile plasters on his face, ignoring that I mentioned Niall's name or I thought he was Niall. Okay, this is awkward. My subconscious says. "Are you going somewhere for lunch?"
"Yeah. Canteen." I murmur under my breath.
"Okay. I'm coming with you." He replies. I was going to tell him not to come with me but I just can't. "I hope you wouldn't mind." I have no choice but to nod.
