Sorry, this chapter took too long before I publish it. I forgot to update because I was sort of busy and I don't have time to update. But here it is now! Enjoy! :*

Niall's POV
"Hey, honey!" Thalia's mom calls me when I run down their small hallway.
"I have to go, Zaida." I say, trying to sound happy but I fail. "Bye!"
As I left Thalia's house, I'm getting even pissed at myself. This is great.
Told you, I shouldn't have tell her! I remind myself.
"Holy shit, I like you so much!" Thalia's voice echoes. Jesus Christ, what?! She said it, did she, right?
I unconsciously bring my fingers to my lips to wipe the sweat above my upper lip and as soon as my fingers touches my lips, the memory of Thalia and I kissing flashes back. Her lips was soft and tastes as sweet as she is. She moved along with me as I kissed her. It was unbelievably amazing. I never thought she would kiss me back, I was afraid that she wouldn't. I wish it didn't end too fast though.
But here we are now in a complicated state of relationship, it's my freaking fault.
* * * * *
I woke up the next morning as if everything's the same. After taking a shower, grooming myself, and eating breakfast, I walked to Thalia's house to get her. But she was in school already.
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday has slipped away and Thalia and I still barely talks.
Maybe she is right? That we couldn't be more than what we both wanted to be because our friendship will sink as fast as the Titanic ship? And I also of course don't want our special relationship to just drift away if we let my feelings towards her goes beyond being best friends. Okay, maybe she is really right.
Today's a fine Saturday noon, three days since Thalia and I haven't talk to each other yet; three days since Thalia and I haven't go to school and go home together; three days since I haven't come over to her house every after school; and three days since Thalia and I's friendship starts to break apart. But I never ever wont regret when I kissed her. Not just because she kissed me back but rather because it was exactly what my mother told me. Not to kiss some random girl but to the one you truly love because you wont regret it. And I didn't regret it. I wonder if I could kiss her once more.
Geez, Niall! What is happening to you? Of course she wouldn't let you kiss her anymore! I remind-scold myself.
I think it's time to move on? I think I should because clearly, Thalia and I couldn't be more than this. But, man. I can't promise I will move on with the feelings I feel towards her.
I now realize how much Thalia means to me. More than just my best friend, yes. And I wish I knew it before or at least, realizes it. Well, honestly? She is really different from any other girls in the campus. She might not be ―and I bet, will not be― wearing make-ups on her face, she might not be wearing sexy clothes and short shorts or skirts like the other girls wear to school, she might not have highlights on her hair, and she might not be hanging around with any and every guy in school and the next day, they're already dating but that makes her even beautiful. She is very transparent, simple, and not trying to be someone who isn't, wouldn't and couldn't be her.
There's nothing that can beat having a great attitude over having a pretty face. And that's why I just can't get over Thalia because she have both. She is true to herself and has a great attitude. She's also kind, sweet, gentle, bubbly, and smart which is such a huge turn on to me.
And now, even if that there is a high wall between us, I still want her.
"Can you pass me the remote?" I ask Dad when I got to the couch in the living room. As soon as the control is in my hand, I scan the television.
"Back, back." My Dad demands, referring to the channel. And I do so. Whoa, holy crap! "Oh, son! This is it!" Dad cheers, smiling at me.
"You guess so?" I smile.
"I believe so." He reassures with a grin and I nod at him.
A familiar sound sounds in the background while another familiar sign appears on the tv screen. Dad and I intently listen to what the host of this show says and announces until it's over.
Oh, god.
"Dad, did you hear it?" I gulp nervously.
"I did, son." He laughs at my reaction.
"X Factor audition here?" I utter. "Are you kidding me?!"
He doesn't reply but I hear him laughing at me. I don't care for now cause all I wanted right now is an application form for the X Factor.
I literally jump off from my seat and head to my room upstairs.
applied for xfactor, hope it all wrks out
I tweeted.
Sure, I have a Twitter. I just don't use it often. And sure, Thalia saw my tweet immediately.
What?!
She texted me. And I start to tremble. It's the first time again that she talks to me, though over the phone and it's just a text, but still. What should I do now?
yes x :)
While I am waiting for her to reply, I start to overthink about us. Are we going to be friends again? Or at least, are we going to be okay again?
That's amazing, Ni! :)
yeah! can we talk tomorrow? please?
Sure?
So I guess, this is it. We're going to be okay again tomorrow.
