Chapter 16- Dinner With The Lycans

On Saturday Evening....

It was Saturday evening. The evening where Scarlet would have dinner with Victoria's family AKA The Lycan Family. The famous family who owned a huge business in the city. She wondered what it was like to be in a family like that. It must be really busy from time to time.

Scarlet had vowed to herself that she would be polite and very respectful if she wanted to show a good influence for Victoria.

As Scarlet knocked on the Lycan's door, she could already feel tension build up inside. She felt nervous like never before. What if something happened during dinner? Oh Irene, it was all too much. But, if Scarlet really wanted to find out what she really was, she had to seek more info from the family who started the line of Ultimas.

Did Victoria tell them what has been going on during school with Scarlet's power? So many what if's and questions...too much to process...

Victoria answered the door.
"Hey Scar!" She spoke with an enthusiastic tone. Scarlet smiled brightly and walked into the porch. Victoria had a HUGE house that looked like a dream wonderland home. With a glass door for the back, a bar, big comfy couches and a big flat screen TV and all the rest of the amazing things, you would think there was nothing she didn't have. It seemed true.

A woman in a brown blouse with a black business skirt immediately got up from the table as she noticed Scarlet. She spoke in a deep but soothing voice. "You must be Scarlet, Victoria's friend. I'm Laura,Victoria's mom but you can call me Ms. Lycan."

Scarlet smiled. "Nice to meet you Ms. Lycan!" Scarlet glanced over to the table to see a nice dinner set up and who looked to be Victoria's Dad and her brother. Her mom had the same colour hair as Victoria with the same colour eyes too. Well I can see where Vic gets her looks from, She thought. Her dad had jet black hair with pale ice blue eyes. His face had a very fine jawline and his smile seemed so captivating. Her brother had the same hair as his dad but he kept looking down even when Scarlet sat down to the table. He seemed like the silent type.

When everyone had taken a seat, that's when the questions started to flood in Scarlet's mind. Vic's Dad seemed curious of Scarlet since he kept making quick glances in her direction. It suddenly became very silent. Victoria decided to break the tension. "So, Scarlet, I see you've already met my mom and dad but you haven't met my brother yet. This is Grayson but everyone calls him Gray." Gray suddenly put his head up from where he was. "Huh? Oh, h-hi Scarlet.." He said as he glanced at her. Wow...

Scarlet smiled. "Nice to meet you Gray!"

Gray just nodded sincerely. Vic's dad spoke up. "Now, let's get to dinner shall we?" Ms. Lycan got up and started to fill everyone's plates with what was a delicious looking chicken dinner with fruit punch or plain water to drink. Scarlet had to admit, Ms.Lycan was a pretty good cook.

Everyone looked like they were enjoying the dinner by how fast they were eating. Scarlet felt a little nervous. She hadn't had dinner with one of her friends family before. She was also nervous because she wondered when they were gonna question her about the "thing". She didn't know how she would answer them. To be honest, she didn't know much about her wolf form or whatever the heck they called it. Well, all she can do is answer them truthfully and maybe, just maybe, she can ask about Keora. She needed to know more about this Keora person if she was gonna stop her from making Scarlet turn evil or even, psycho....
