I just hoped that there wouldn't be another prophecy. I hate prophecy's so much. My mom would kill me if I had to fight another war. "After we talk to Chiron we will find my hunters. right?"Artemis said crossing her arms and following me out of the Poseidon cabin "yeah sure. Maybe." I said adding the last part just to make her irritated "Maybe!" She said, her scowl become more pronounced "yeah I'm pretty sure Chiron will decide if we do that or not." I said ignoring all the gasps and looks other campers were giving me and Artemis "fine!" Artemis yelled as I opened the door to the big house "hey Chiron!" I said closing the door behind Artemis "my boy?" Chiron said wth his legs hidden in his wheelchair "um I have something to tell you." I said scratching the back of my head "anything." Chiron said kindly "umm we have another... camper?" I said wondering how to word this "oh. Who is it?" Chiron said politely as Artemis stepped out from behind me "Artemis, goddess of the hunt and the moon, yadda yadda yadda." I said presenting Artemis dramatically "I'm sorry I could have thought you said goddess!" Chiron said forgetting to be polite "yeah um I'm just going to let Artemis explain that one." I said letting Artemis walk in front of me. I could have sworn I heard her hiss the word coward at me "yes I have been turned mortal as a punishment from Zeus." Artemis said "is this punishment like Apollo's?" Chiron asked "in some aspects." Artemis said "such as?" Chiron asked leaning forward "I am allowed to converse with my hunters. I'm just not allowed to do anything to help Apollo." Artemis said "how do you know this?" Chiron said suspiciously. Artemis just shrugged and stepped behind me once more "must you have a demigod master?" Chiron said "unfortunately." Artemis growled "who would you prefer?" Chiron asked "my master must be male." Artemis spat "well that narrows it down."  Chiron said stroking his chin "yes. I wonder who it will be." I said, I was very amused at this turn of events "it would be you." Artemis said in a flat voice "I don't think agreed to that!" I said falling over... dang it... a chair "you didn't. I'm telling you. I need a boy that I can somewhat trust. You fit that description." Artemis said rolling her eyes "thank you?" I said getting up and brushing off my pants, ignoring how bossy she seemed "just claim my service already." Artemis said crossing her arms "uhh okay. I'm Percy Jackson and I claim you into my service!" I said as a thunderclap affirmed the claim. After a few minutes of silence Artemis spoke up "so what happens now." "You will have to stay here until we can find the hunt." Chiron said "I'm going to go ahead and say that this is going to be super difficult." I said groaning "yes. It is hard to find someone that does not want to be found." Chiron said dismissing us with a wave of his hand. We walked back to my cabin, still ignoring the glares and looks I was still getting from the campers "I guess I'll stay in your cabin." Artemis said sitting on the top bunk, her legs swinging off the edge "yeah I guess you will." I said shrugging. Annabeth wouldn't mind. "promise me." Artemis said looking at me intensely "promise you what?" I asked looking back at her "swear on the river Styx that you will not use my service to make all your perverted boy dreams come true." She growled, her face creasing with anger "I swear on the river Styx I will not use your service to do anything inappropriate to  you." I said, unsurprised "thank you." Artemis said sighing with relief "what for?" I said confused "you really are just a dumb male aren't you? What I meant is that no normal boy would swear that. I did well in choosing you." Artemis said rolling her eyes, with the faintest hint of a smile "your welcome." I said slowly "another boy would probably order me to do something...inappropriate instead of swearing." Artemis said looking at the fountain "well I'm not some other boy." I said grinning "we should get you situated so that we can start looking for your hunters first thing in the morning." I said "yes I would like that."
