How's the story so far?
. . .
I'll take that silence as an admission of your growing love for my story.
Right, so let's just get to the Point.

We were hauled along by the heaps and heaps of demigods that occupied the camp.
I caught brief looks at my friends as we were shoved along a beaten dirt path.
They took us into the forest and didn't stop until we reached a small clearing where a wooden stage was set and on the stage an elaborately carved throne.
We were forced onto our knees as the blonde son of Aphrodite was carried onto the stage.
He sauntered over to the throne and laid across it, crossing his legs and grabbing a cluster of grapes from a nearby guard's hand.
The guards around the boy's throne were all offering him things like grapes, a fan, a pitcher of water, and other goodies.
He lazily lolled his head in our direction and sighed "Percy Jackson. Son of Poseidon, right?" His voice was bored, as though we weren't worth his time.
His tone irked me. I didn't respond to him.
A guard smacked the back of my head "talk!"
I shot the guard a look before I looked up at the so called king of the hill "yeah, that's right."
Dave nodded and sighed "you just had to come back, didn't you? I mean, look at all the things I've accomplished!"
Dave swiftly jumped from his throne and gestured to the masses of demigods that had crowded to see him.
He smiled widely, his perfect white teeth almost gleaming "see? It's awesome! And it's all because you left!"
I scowled "what's 'awesome' about it? You've got tons of minions and cronies now, how original."
He looked down on me with a frown "what?"
I sighed and rolled my eyes "I'm just saying. How much more Disney Villain can you get? I mean you've got the betrayal of the good guy, Chiron, you take over the kingdom, the camp, and then you let all of your evil army come occupy it. That's pretty standard Lion King, man."
Dave furrowed his brow "I've never seen the Lion King." He confessed.
I gave him a look "really? You haven't? It's pretty old now... it's on Disney Plus." I told him.
The king thought about it for a moment and then shook his head "that doesn't matter! Ah! I forgot about that thing you do!"
I felt a little insulted "that thing I do?"
Dave waved me off "whatever. Let's just return to what I was going to say." He adjusted his thick red cape that hung around his neck.
The cape itself looked insanely expensive, with its vibrant red dye and the white fur that lined it as well as the golden clasps.
Under that cape he wore the standard camp shirt and jeans.
A weird combination if you ask me.
"I'm going to sentence you to death and we'll hang you, okay?" Dave said, looking bored as he ate a grape.
I lurched forward but was stopped by a few guards "Who do you think you are? You don't have to power to sentence someone to death! Your just a camper!"
The boy's pretty face twisted in anger. It was an ugly, grotesque, thing to watch the young man's face become distorted by sheer rage. The rage that was clearly insanity.
He leered down at me and spat in my face "I am not just a camper! I am the king! The ruler of your stupid little camp! Show me some respect!"
A guard smacked the back of my head "yeah! Show the king his respect!"
I scowled deeper. That guard is a camper too... how do they not see what's happening?
I turned and caught Carmen's eye. He made flames flicker within his bound hands, raising his eyebrows at me.
I nodded. On my signal... I mouthed, hoping he would pick up on it.
The boy king dropped from his stage and stomped over to me, looming over me.
He got uncomfortably close to my face and scoffed "you're the great Percy Jackson? Your not even hard to capture! You're nothing, nobody!"
Dave gestured to a thin boy who was standing completely rigid nearby.
The boy, wearing a camp shirt under a purple hoodie, hurried grabbed a heavy looking imperial gold sword that had been leaning against the throne and handed it to Dave.
Dave raised his sword and sneered "I don't want to waste time by sending you to the gallows! I'll behead you here and now! I'm taking care of you myself, cry your tears of joy!" He cackled in a way that made me fear even more for his sanity.
The guard next to me shoved up against me roughly "he's taking the time out of his day to kill you himself! Be grateful!"
The king's sword gleamed in the sunlight as he gave me a cruel smile "any last words?"
I held back a witty retort. Making one would be the wrong choice here.
I looked up at him and huffed "Just two little ones. Carmen! Now!" I yelled as I thrust my head into Dave's midriff.
Carmen's toros burst into flames as he shoved aside his guards and flung the flaming ropes he'd been bound with into their faces "Percy! Turn!" He yelled, facing me.
I turned slightly, shoving a guard out of my way as a small stream of fire shot onto my bonds.
I threw the bonds off as soon as I could and grabbed Riptide from my pocket.
I uncapped my sword and waved it under the noses of the guards who'd come to subdue me "come on! Don't be scared, it's just a razor sharp edge!" I growled at them, trying to intimidate them into backing off.
Dave clutched his stomach and dropped his sword, stumbling backwards.
He wheezed and pointed at me, fury in his eyes "kill him! Now!"
I summoned the water out of the pitcher on the stage to circle my feet as I jeered at my opponents "well? You heard the man, kill me!" I taunted, watching the guards uneasy faces.
Carmen, unarmed, threw swathes of fire at the crowd of demigod guards trying to grab him while he defended Artemis.
Alexus helped him, taking on demigods in hand to hand combat. She seemed just as dangerous unarmed as armed as she had broken several unfortunate demigod's wrists and femurs.
Dave screamed in anger and frustration and threw his imperial gold sword through the crowd at me.
He was an excellent sword thrower, so much so that it threw me off guard when he did so.
The sword whirled through the air, decapitating several demigod guards on its way to me, it's original target.
That single moment I was caught off guard proved detrimental as I no longer had enough time to wack the sword out of the way.
I would have been impaled if Carmen hadn't thrown a fireball at it, nearly scorching my face in the process.
I stumbled backwards onto my butt as Carmen came to a stop next to me.
He helped me up and patted my shoulder roughly "No dying on me now, Jackson. Your going to live to see your camp restored, understand?"
I nodded and adjusted my grip on Riptide "do we stand a chance?"
Carmen grunted and raised a fiery palm "not unless we take out mister king and his weaselly freind first."
I grit my teeth "we go for them on three."
Fire licked up the side of his neck from his collar "one."
The water shifted and circled my legs, ready to give me a boost "two."
Carmen's flames flared up and gained intensity "three!"
We bursted forward, taking advantage of the small gap in guards that had been created.
One demigod threw himself in front of the king to save him put Carmen grappled him down with flaming hands.
"Go! Knock some sense into that asinine king!" He managed to yell to me, his chin being pushed on by the demigod's boot.
I barreled forward and crashed into Dave, driving my sword point into his thigh.
He yelled out and shoved me aside, attempting to escape.
I didn't let him, grabbing onto his ankle "your not getting away! Your mine!"
Dave flailed and cried out like a small child "Hawthorne! Help me!"
The thin weasel kid named Hawthorne tugged on the strings of his purple hoodie "h-how!? What do I do boss!?"
The kid king screamed as I dragged him back, inch by inch "do the thing! The mist labyrinth thing!"
Hawthorne shook his wildly and backed away involuntarily "n-no! I was told never to do that!"
Dave tried to kick me in the face but obtained no purchase "do it or I'll feed you to the hellhounds!" He screamed.
Hawthorne whimpered and snapped his fingers.
White mist instantly invaded the clearing, fogging up my thoughts and obscuring my thoughts.
When the mist cleared I was standing in a long long hallway, the impossibly tall walls damp ivy covered stone.
I looked around "what in the name of Zeus Almighty is this?" I said, using a curse I'd heard Alexus use once.
I hand grabbed my shoulder and I whirled around to see a grim looking Carmen.
"Whatever this is." He said "it's certainly mist-terious."
I stared him in his ember and coal eyes.
He smirked "c'mon Jackson. Lighten up a little, it's just a death maze."
