Following him must sound like the easiest thing to do, but it's not. I keep my eyes on my feet as I walk behind him. I look up once in awhile to make sure I'm still following him and not someone else with a white T-shirt and blue jeans. My eyes don't leave the ground for less than 5 seconds. I'm coming up to take inhale air and dive back in.
I can feel the girls eyes on me and their desire to melt me down with lazer vision. I feel like a complete weirdo just walking behind Mr. Perfection. Maybe they think I'm stalking him. Or are they surprised that one of the cute guys is walking me to the office? I look up again to find Angel talking to another girl. My eyes won't leave them. The girl was very pretty. Even pale skin, bright brown eyes, perfect cheek bones, natural blush. Her eyebrows where naturally filled in and all. She looked really good in that nice black Gothic dress and black high knee shoelace boots. It really made her perfectly skinny with nice curves stand out. Unlike my slender flat body. Her eyes where outlined with black eyeliner making her dark eyes look more staring. I didn't get a chance to really apply mine this morning. Her appearance makes me feel so ordinary and boring. She's just so pretty, and she's talking to Angel.
Angel towers the girl because he's obviously so tall and the girl is short probably the same height as me. Angel nods as they talk, I can't hear them though. I could only see their mouths moving. Angel smiles at whatever she's saying. I've never really seen him smile like that before. She must really mean something to him. Then, just then he leans in and kisses her gently. I want to say aw or how sweet. But, it doesn't feel that way. I can't feel that way. I feel angry and sad all over, but why?
I bump into the bus guy's back. "I'm sorry!" I apologize backing up quickly. "Hey-hey it's okay." he laughs at how easily freaked out I get. I scratch the back of my head nervously and look back at angel and that girl. "Who is she?" I accidentally blurt. "That's Noelle, they are the vampire couple." Couple? Duh. You don't just randomly kiss a classmate like that. Why didn't Angel tell me about his girlfriend?
"It's a shame she picked that freak though. She's a real catch." I glare at him, but he's to busy looking at her to see me. Now I've seen this guy's ugly side which I thought was impossible, but now he just proved me wrong.
We walk for a little bit longer and stop at the office door. "Thank you for showing me where the office is at." I say adjusting my backpack straps. "No problem. I'm Travis by the way." He holds his hand out for me. I take a moment of hesitation before finally deciding to shake his hand. "Colleen."

The classes are all just one big blur. I don't want to remember all the embarrassing moments. I have to sit in the very back and sit next to no one. Everyone just looks at me oddly and never answer any one my questions that hardly even leave my mouth. For my math class they had us all put in groups. I was left out so the teacher had to put me in a group of people who didn't hesitate to make it obvious that they didn't want me there.
During lunch I grab my tray. The lunch lady gave me an odd look, "Are you new?" She squints her at me. I nod my slightly and force a smile. She looks away and serves me my food.
This seems to be some kind of nightmare, I've never struggled to find a seat to sit in. All the tables where taken by all kinds of groups. "Difficult choice isn't it?" A soft feminine voice says besides me. I turn my head to find a girl about my age standing next to me. She wore a black leather jacket ripped jeans and her blond hair was cut short. "Yeah" I chuckle nervously. "Katie"
"What?" "I'm Katie." She laughs. Her sky blue eyes travel all over my body. Is she checking me out? "If your looking for a table to sit; you can sit with us." It's either stand here the whole entire time or go sit with this stranger. Who am I kidding? They are all strangers to me except for two people who are avoiding me right now. I sit down next to Katie and her three other friends. Two girls and one guy. I look around anxiously trying to look for Angel, but I found Luke eating with his friends. Where was Angel? His girlfriend wasn't there either. Travis was sitting on the big table in the middle of the cafeteria. I label it as the popular table. He is sitting with a bunch of his friends and lots of girls, I bet half of them are cheerleaders. Travis catches me staring at him and winks. My cheeks burn in embarrassments. He stands up from his seat and walks towards us. I thought he was going to say hi, but then a few other friends stood up and followed his lead out of the cafeteria.
