The next day I'm outside with the boys including Angel my mother told me I needed to spend more time with them in order to like them and get along with them better. Angel didn't want to be here either, but Mr. Rivers forced him to spend time with us too. We just stared at each other and then it all started Angel began to push the boys around then the they began to jump on him and start kicking him and having a real fight. "Stop it!" I tried yelling but only a breath came out of my mouth. I said "Stop it you three!" still nothing just a mouse squeak.
"What about her? Why don't you fight her too?" Lukes asks Angel who is holding him down on the floor like a cop. "No." Me mumbled.
"C'mon man she's your sister now!" He tells him. "I said no!" He let's go of him. "Why don't you talk to her Angel? Are you shy because you like her?" Mark smirked on the other side of the pool where he knows Angel won't get him. My cheeks burn in embarrassment.
"Leave me alone!" He groans pushing Luke down. "Stop it you two!" I yell. The words feel good as they finally leave my mouth. Angel's look softens as he turns to look back at me. "And what are you gonna do to make me stop eh? You stupid poser quit making nirvana happen." He points at my shirt that I've been wearing for the past few days I've been here.
"Then stop making MCR happen." I fold my arms. He looks down at his shirt and opens his mouth to talk, but then just walks away with his hands in his black ripped Jean pockets. "Whoa.. I've never been able to talk to my brother like that without getting a bruise." He shows me his arm with a few bruises and scratches.
I go into the house and suddenly feel confused I thought I was in a different house. For, the whole entire living room and kitchen decorated with Christmas stuff like lights and creepy ginger bread men and snowmen.
In the living room there is a huge, tall tree, so tall even the tip is bended. It's decorated pretty plain, it had a few decorations and some Christmas art projects from Luke and Mark that they did in the past.
I walk towards it and look at all the decorations. Like I said I'm not used to celebrating Christmas much so this whole situation is weird. I run my fingers carefully on the sphere with small finger prints on it and Merry Christmas sloppily written on it. I'm shook to see these things that they made when they were younger and innocent and probably not psychotic like they are today. Something brings my attention it's very shiny it's a sphere with a picture inside of it. Then I realized what it is.
It was picture of Angel probably when he was about 10 years old. t
There was a date on it too. My heart felt something about seeing small Angel, young and innocent. That was probably when his mom was here. That's the reason why mr. Rivers ended up dating my mom, because he was looking for a wife to watch over his children because he is window. His wife died a very long time ago after and a small incident at work ever since that, this family has been a mess. I know what it's like to not have one of your parents. Even if my dad is still alive and with us he's still not here with me he's with another family and everytime I think about it, it breaks my heart. Another family, yeah because he was cheating. When he started to get stressed out the lady he's with right now has a good amount of money. She's a rich witch. I say witch because she has a very long nose and she is so not pretty at all.
Like the song said It's Beginning to Look Alot Like Christmas, in this house. I go to my room and take out my phone. There are no messages for my friend, she's been really distant and the only messages I get from her are LOL's and other things like HAHA when I say something funny. She used to crack up when I would say something funny and put a whole mess of laughing emojis and stuff like that, but now she doesn't do anything like that anymore. I guess she's really tired of me and I'm just waiting for the day when she doesn't answer me at all. My mom walks into my room.
"Don't think that I don't know you haven't showered. You cannot be like this in the house, you're starting to smell." She wrinkles her nose like she usually does when she doesn't like something. "Are you insecure about the boys being around?" I look around shyly playing with my fingers. "Maybe maybe not." I answer bitterly. "There's nothing to be afraid of this is your house now." I take a deep breath and let out a loud sigh "mom I don't want to live here. you can find someone else who doesn't have kids of their own."
"It's not that simple Colleen. Towels are folded under the sink." She changed the subject and walked out of my room. I hesitated as I entered the bathroom. I locked the door and hoped no one did one of those unlocking door tricks because I am sure someone will pull it off on me. I quickly rinse my hair with shampoo and rub some more shampoo on my body because I don't know where that soap has been.
I change in the bathroom and brush my light brown layered hair. As soon as I open the door Mark shoves me aside, "you took forever!" He pushed me outside the door, I flinch as it slammed shut. Where is everybody? I wondered to myself. The seemed awfully quiet, but not enough to bring my attention. Luke was in his room and so was Angel, who's door is half open. I peek inside shyly "hey..." I say very low.
"Hi" Angel answers surprising me, "what are you doing?" I ask leaning against the door. He looks up at me and smiles. The sweetest smile I've ever seen.
