The bus ride was rough, crowded an annoying. A bus filled with screaming 5 and 6 year olds would clearly be annoying, their shrill voices and unstable bodies bouncing off the sides of the bus. It wasnt safe in any way, but the bus driver was too focused on the traffic of cars infront of her to care for what's going on behind her.

Hwan was crammed into a seat next to the blue eyed girl, her puffy black hair very much in his face but saying nothing. He didn't want to be a bother to her hair even if it tickled his nose. He turned his head the best he could and sneezed, apologizing immediately for some reason.

"Oh I'm sorry..." Hwan said in a quiet voice. He didn't intend it to be, and he wondered if the girl heard him considering how loud the small space was.

"It's fine. Bless you by the way." She said, small smile on her face as she turned her body to face Hwan a bit.

The girl, who's name Hwan learned to be June, simply looked at him. There was no exchange of words or shouts unlike the rest of the bus, just a short stare before the bus came to a stop. The masses of bodies lurched forward as the bus door opened, some of the screaming kids rushing down the narrow aisle and out of the bus.

"Oh..." June said as she craned her neck to see the window in front. "My stop is next. I'll see you tomorrow though Hwan!"

"You two Juno. Oh! And bring the 64 pack of crayons! we can draw a picture together with them!" Hwan said to her.

The bus began moving, a few more bumps here and there before stopping again, June standing up as well as 2 other kids before walking down the aisle and leaving the bus.

Hwan waved out of the window o June as she walked towards her waiting parents, the two males standing side by side. One of them had an arm around the others shoulder, only to release from their small hug to receive a small tackle hug from June. Hwan smiled at the small moment, looking forward to seeing his parents again.

A few more stops pass and his was nearing, being the last person dropped off because he lived rather far from the school. Soon enough the bus stopped at his family's apartment complex, Hwan hopping off the bus and zooming right up the stairs.

The door, per usual, was unlocked. Kihyun tended to forget to lock the door and Hyunwoo always had in and out trips. They eventually found no need for locking the door unless everyone was out or if it was night. Was it safe? no. Has anyone been murdered yet? no. So, they kept the door unlocked.

As Hwan opened the door slowly, peeking in, he finds his parents both in their underwear and a t-shirt staring at a pair of blue fuzzy duck pants lying on the floor. It was Kihyun's favorite pants, but lately they've seemed stretched despite his father loosing weight actually.

"Hyunwoo..." Kihyun said quietly. "Would you care to explain why I found these in your drawers?" he asked sternly, arms crossed as his eyes darted upwards to Hyunwoo. The taller man only gulped, unsure of what to say.

"Because you were gone and I needed something to be reminded of you?" he said, clearly an excuse.

"I'm married to you! Is the ring not a reminder enough?"

"Why are you worked up over your duck pants?!"

"They are my favorite duck pants!"

"I saw them at the dollar store yesterday!"

"Hi dad, dad." Hwan said innocently, a bright smile to lighten the weird mood as he runs over and stands between the two. "Guess what day it is?"

Kihyun and Hyunwoo both advert their gaze and conversation to the little one currently between them, facing them with a smile of pure happiness. The pink haired male crouched down, looking at his son at eye level.

"No baby, what day is it?" He asked in a rather fatherly tone.

"It's parents day!" Hwan said excitedly. "So I made you a present."

"Oooh." Hyunwoo said as he crouched down aswell. "Did you make brownies for us?"

Hwan giggled and shook his head. He wanted too, but his small hands weren't ready for the kitchen. "I drew a picture for you guys! I worked really hard". Rummaging through his paper filled backpack, the toddler pulled out a folded paper card and handed it to his buff father, who took it with careful hands.

They stood up and leaned close to eachother, smiling at the cute drawings of them and the cute child handwriting. There were hearts and stars and rainbows scattered irradically around the paper, and the coloring was messy. Yet to both Kihyun and Hyunwoo, it was more valuable than any artwork on the earth.

"Aww....Baby..." Kihyun said as he placed the card against his heart. "This is so cute..." He said sniffling.

"My heart is gonna implode. It's filled with rainbows and sunshines and it hurts. Stop Hwan, don't do this to your dad." Hyunwoo said with a smile as he took the card back and walked over to the fridge, using a magnet and pinning it to the surface of the fridge. "Now it will be displayed for us to see every morning."

Hwan smiled wider, arms extended out to hug his parents thighs as they hugged back. He received a kiss from each of them; one on the forehead, the other on cheek. For a while Hwan felt at peace, because being at home made him feel safer than any place there could be.

He was happy to have his parents, because no one loved him more than they did. And he will spend the rest of his life trying to show them the same love.
