I just blow dried my hair and got dressed for the day "hey babe, you ready??" I ask as I walk into Nicks office.
He looks up at me "oh, yeah! Let go" he smiles. I grab the keys and we walk out to the car "So we need to go to the paint store, furniture store and Toys R Us"
I look over at him as he starts the car "Where should we go first?" I look at the list of things we need "Probably hit the furniture store last so we can get nicole to help. Let's go get paint first" I smile at him
I give Nick directions and he drives to the paint store. Once we pull into the parking lot Nick parks the car and we go inside
"So are we just getting pink or were there other colors you had in mind??" Nick asks as he looks at all the colors
"I need this room to be perfect.." I sigh as I look at the colors "I think for right now we just stick with a tan color" I say as I walk over to the worker, telling him which color I need.
Nick and I pay for the paint and head to Toys R Us "So what are we getting here?" Nick asks as we walk into the store "id like to find a good stroller, and maybe even a few clothes and we should probably just stock up on diapers while we can"
"Babe, they're not even here yet, there's no need to stress about all this right now" Nick says as he follows me through the store
"I know that.. I just.. I want everything to be perfect" I smile a little at him, he smiles back and nods "and it will be! I promise you. I just don't want you to get too over worked" he says, hugging me. "I know! And I won't, so let's get to shopping!!"
After Nick and I get clothes, a stroller, paint and buy two cribs we go pick up Nicole "it's a good thing you own a truck" Nicole says as she crawls in the backseat
We pull up at the apartment and Nick and Nicole start carrying stuff in. I grab the clothes and paint and head into the nursery
"This is going to be a lot of work" I say as I smile at Nick and Nicole as we start taping up the room.
