It was currently 8:30 in the morning and Nick and I were getting ready to go to my sonogram.
I put on my shoes and grab my purse, putting Oscar in his cage "Okay.. I'm ready" I smile at him "Everything's going to be alright" he says "I'm excited" I say to him as we walk out to the car "Me too"
Once we get to the office, Nick and I intertwine our fingers and take a deep breath before walking in.
I check in and go take a seat by Nick "you think we will see the baby?" Nick asks "I think it really depends on how far along I am" I look at him, he smiles at me and gives me a quick kiss.
"Lilly" a nurse says standing in front of the door with a clipboard Nick and I stand up at the same time and walk towards the nurse
We follow her back to the room and I sit on the table. After the nurse gets all of the information, she closes her laptop and heads for the door "The doctor will be right in" she says, smiling and walking out the door
A couple minutes later the doctor walks in "Hi Lilly, I'm Doctor Mickelson" it's really nice to meet you she says, smiling and shaking my hand "Nice to meet you, this is my fiancé Nick" nick stands up and shakes her hand
After we go over a few things I lay back on the chair and lift my shirt up "this will be a little cold, and if you look up at the screen that's where you should see the baby" I nod and she starts the move the gel around my stomach.
Nick and I smile widely once we hear a heart beat "it's definitely in there, we just have to see if we can see it now" she smiles at us. She continue to go around my stomach and stops "oh..." she says "what?? Is something wrong???" Nick asks "not at all.. but you are most definitely pregnant.. with twins"
My eyes widen a little bit and I look at nick "twins??" I ask "now it's a little too early to tell the gender but you're about 6 weeks along so the next appointment I should be able to tell you" she smiles, wiping the gel off. I sit up and pull my shirt down
"I'll meet you guys out here to schedule another appointment when you're ready" she says before walking out
"Twins.. wow" Nick says "nick.. the wedding. How are we supposed to get married before I get super big? I don't want to wait 9 months.." I frown
"Baby it's okay, we will figure it out" he smiles, rubbing my back "This is exciting! Stop stressing out. It's all going to be okay" he kisses me, I nod and take a deep breath
After we make an appointment we head home and invite Nicole over.
"Ahh!! I'm so excited for you guys!! I swear I'll be here everyday when the baby's come and I'll help you guys all the time. I'm gonna be the best aunt ever"
Nick and I laugh at Nicole's excitement and I grab the shirt nicole got me, putting it on. "It's go time.."

@lilly.ross: well... Nick and I found out today that we will be welcoming our baby twins into the world in November 2018! We are thrilled and can't wait to go through this journey together and with all of you! ❤️ 1 month today!
