Nicks POV
I look over at Lilly as she lays in the bed with her eyes closed. I sigh softly and stand up, walking toward her
"How are you doing baby??" I ask as I grab her hand. She opens her eyes and looks up at me, smiling weakly "in a lot of pain.. it's bearable right now though"
After an hour of waiting the contractions are getting closer and closer "Mrs.Robinson, we are going to begin the delivery, all I need you to do is push as hard as you can and take deep breaths" the doctor says as she puts her gloves on
I get up and stand at the head of the bed, holding onto Lilly's hand "you've got this baby, I'm right here" I say as I kiss the top of her head, she nods and closes her eyes
"Okay Lilly.. on 3 I need a big push" the doctor says "1.. 2... 3..." Lilly squeezes my hand tightly and pushes as hard as she can
"I see a head.. just a push or two more!" Lilly grunts as she gives another hard push, she takes a deep breath before pushing again, the room filling of a baby crying
I smile widely and look down at Lilly "You're doing great babe, just a couple more pushes" I kiss her hand
Lilly give another two good pushes, the sound of another baby crying instantly fills the room.
It's been two hours since the delivery, Lilly just finished getting all fixed up and I was in the room with the twins
"Babe, can you hand them to me.." Lilly says as she looks over at me, I nod and pick them up, gently handing them to her
"We did it.." she whispers, I sigh softly and kiss her head "yes we did" I smile
