Nicky's POV

We woke up peacefully this morning. Which was unusual.

I smiled at Duncan when I woke up. He was watching me. "How long were you up?" I asked. "Only a few minutes. Come on, we have to get up" he said. I grumbled, and snuggled into his pillow. "I don't wanna" I said. "But, don't you want to see Sammy?" he asked with a knowing smile. My eyes opened wide. I had forgotten she was here! I hopped out of bed. "See you in a few minutes!" I called, as I ran out of the cabin. I grabbed my clothes and got changed, and went to find my sister. She still had to meet the guys. I ran over to the lodge and saw she was there with Bridget, LaShawna and Izzy. I smiled at them, and I hugged Sammy from behind. "Morning, sis. How'd you sleep?" I asked. She smiled. "Best sleep in a long time" she said. I kissed the top of her head. "Come on. There's a few more people I want you to meet. We'll see you ladies later" I said.

We walked out, and I went to the guys cabin. I smiled at Duncan, Geoff and DJ. "Hey guys. This is my sister, Sammy" I said. She waved in a shy way, angling her head so that a bit of her hair covered some of her face. I smacked her shoulder a bit. She only did that when cute boys were around. I walked over to Duncan, and he wrapped his arms around me. "Where'd Trent and Owen go?" I asked. "Trent went swimming, and Owen is somewhere that isn't here" he said. I smiled. Wherever Trent it, Gwen is sure to follow. "Okay. She'll meet them later" I said. I looked over at Sammy, who was now sitting on DJ's bed, and they were talking.

I smiled again. Life is now amazing.

Until...

A canon fired, and blew up LaShawna's new trailer.

I groaned. Only Chris can ruin a moment. "Darrr, mateys! Meet me at the amphitheater in five minutes, and I'll tell you of today's challenge" Chris said in a pirate voice. I rolled my eyes. "Come on guys. Sammy, did you sign anything before coming here?" I asked. She quickly shook her head. "Good, you won't have any part of this. But, come just in case" I said, and we all went over to the amphitheater. LaShawna walked over with her luggage.

I turned to Sammy. "Whatever you do, don't get involved with Heather and Lindsey. They are evil little crocs" I warned her. She nodded, and we all turned to Chris. "Well, my little scallywags. Have we got an adventure in store fer ye" Chris said, still going along with the pirate voice. His fake parrot leaned forward. Chris fixed it.

"What's under the sheet?" Geoff called. "All in good time, laddy. Who here has a hankering for a good, old fashioned treasure hunt?" Chris asked. Gwen groaned and rolled her eyes. I sat up a bit. I was actually really good at finding things.

Sammy chuckled. She knew I would probably have this in the bag. "Now, this treasure hunt's got a twist, mateys. What yer lookin' for isn't hidden, and it isn't treasure" he continued. Now, I was confused. "I'm coonfuzzled" Sammy called. "Well, if there's no treasure, the whats with the eye patch, and the plastic parrot?" Duncan added, obviously not amused.

"Arr! Shiver me timbers, good question me boy. Your looking for keys to a treasure chest" said Chris as Chef pulled off the sheet to reveal three chests. "Inside each of these chests is a treasure that will pamper you land lubers. And one of these chests will even give you invincibility. Ha har! Now come 'round and pull a clue out of this bucket, or you'll have to walk the plank!" he said. So, we all went onto the stage and pulled a clue, except for Sammy.

I pulled one. Mine had a picture of a mountain lion on it. "These clues will tell ye where ye key be stowed" Chris said. My eyes widened. I had to get my key from a mountain lion?!

Owen had the same concern. "A be-be-bear?!"

"I was hoping you'd get that one, dude" Chis leaned in and told him. Then, he turned to Heather. "Ha ha. Chef's fridge. Nice. I hear he brushes it daily for finger prints" he said. Heather frowned. "That there is the septic tank. For the wash rooms" he explained for Geoff, who looked confused.
