Sans starts to leave. As he starts to leave, he hears a smash from one of the labs and hears a machine malfunctioning. Sans looks in the direction of the smash, "dad?! Hang on!"
Sans runs to the lab. As he gets there, he sees the door wide open with a big black hole on the ground as Gaster tries to back up. Sans yells scared, "dad! Get out of there!"
Gaster turns around to look at sans, "my son, please, quickly leave!"
Sans tears up, "no, I am not leaving you!"
Sans starts to run in the room to help Gaster. Before sans was able to do that, Gaster used some magic and blued sans's soul then flings him out of the room then closed the door and locks it. Gaster sighs, "I am sorry, my son."
Sans thinks in his head of how Gaster did that then quickly gets up and runs to the door. Sans tries to open the door crying, "Dad! Please! Get out of there!!"
That, it was too late. Gaster had fallen into the hole and it closed. The door unlocks and sans falls in. he looks around, "dad?! Dad, where did you go?! Please tell me you fixed it and you are just playing another trick on me?!"
Sans looks up at a screen and sees all of the underground. Somehow, everyone now had his magic. The hole underground was going crazy and trying to use the magic hurting each other. Sans's eyes widen, "what is going on?! Why is this happening?!"
Sans looks at the ground and sees a note. He looks around still not seeing Gaster anywhere then goes to pick up the note. Sans reads the note. It is from his father, Gaster. Sans starts to tear up as he reads it. "Hello my son. I am sorry about me throwing you out the room like that. I didn't want you to disappear into the core like me. Now, I am guessing you have seen the screen and saw the underground has your magic. I tripped over something and dropped the bottle into one of my machines, coursing a negative reaction and leaving the underground with your magic. No-one knows how to use it and there is no time to teach them. In just a small matter of time, the magic will affect their soul and their coding coursing them to die. You might be confused when I say 'coding', but that will be all explained later in this game. My son, it is your job to kill everyone. If they die from the wrong coding and it affecting their soul, they might not come back in the next reset. To understand all this you will have to wait a few years, but it is our only hope. Please my son, erase everyone in the underground so they can see the next timeline. Your father, Gaster".
Sans drops the note seeming very confused. Sans mumbles to himself, "kill everyone? Everyone including Papyrus, Alphys and Asgore...?"
Sans wipes his tears away and looks at the screen watching everyone, "alright dad. I will believe you!"
Sans sighs and teleports to the Ruins. Sans arrives at the door in Snowdin into the Ruins. Sans thinks, "maybe this is a bad idea. But, I have to believe dad. I don't know what he meant about half of that but I will give it a shout".
Sans goes to knock on the door. Before he could knock, the door opens he hears someone on the other side, "hello?"
Sans seems a bit frighten and opens the door the rest of the way to see who they were.
