Spock"s POV

"She smiled at me?" I thought. I was trying to figure out what I had said that made her smile while doing this I hadn't realised that the captain and Dr.McCoy had returned "you can't fall in love by staring you two." the captain yelled. I could tell he was drunk. A woman walked up to kirk and grabbed his hand and pulled him back onto the dance floor .Dr. McCoy followed him. I looked back at melody and said " I am sorry the captain is very illogical especially when he is drunk."

"Its alright, my ships crew is exactly the same." she said.

Melody's POV

"um can I ask you something Mr.Spock?" I said

" yes of course. What is it that you wish to you know." Spock said

" can you really tell that I am afraid of men?" I asked.

" well Dr. McCoy tells me I have a problem with saying things that no one would notice or care about. Though he also calls me a hobgoblin when ever he gets angry at my logic so I don't think that is a very logical answer. What I am trying to say unless someone is paying very close attention I think your... I believe the word is secret is safe with me."

"Thanks" I said. Just then a woman came up to us and asked " can I get any drinks fo you two?" I ordered a glass of strong romulan wine and spock just sat there thinking for a moment until he also ordered a glass of romulan wine."I didn't know Vulcan's drank wine?" I said.

"We don't" spock said " my mother used to tell me if I were to ever meet a woman who obviously had a bad past to be kind and give her what she likes I also have found that human women have more emotions then any other creature found in the galaxies to date."

By this time the bartender woman brought our wines and had heard the end of his speech she glared at him and then walked away mad, meanwhile I was trying to not laugh and I failed. I burst out laughing. And the confused look on his face made it even funnier. After a while I managed to stop laughing and gasped out an apology. I finished the wine I ordered and by this time I was too busy talking and looking at spock to see a man staring at me.
