the rescue part 1

McCoy's POV

I couldn't believe my ears spock was going on to a ship full of klingon for a captain of another ship! He was insane. " spock I am not allowing you to go alone! We will get the captain and save her together you don't have to do this on your own." I was sure he would listen to what I said but he kept walking " she will be dead by then" he said. "Spock this isn't logical you will die if you try to save her!" he still didn't stop " listen here you stupid love sick pointed eared hobgoblin, you have to listen to me you aren't on your own spock we can help you." a few moments later I seen 5 red shirts huddled together " grab that Vulcan and bring him to the bridge!" they hesitated " captains orders" I said. That got them moving it took ten minutes to get spock controlled. We walked him to the bridge. When kirk seen spock being held by 5 red shirts he said " what's going on here bones?" At first I didn't want to tell kirk it seemed so stupid now but I finally said " he was trying to save melody singlehandedly and I knew he would get killed so I brought him here so you could talk some sense into him"

Kirks POV

I looked at spock I could see right threw him he wanted to go alone to save her to protect the crew to him it was illogical to involve the crew. " spock you don't have to save her on your own."

" Captain I can't guarantee you or anyone else the safety I have a slim chance of myself and captain melody and-"

"spock you aren't going in alone we are a team and if she is important to risk your life then by god she is important to the rest of us" I saw the look spock was giving me. After being on the enterprise with him for 7 years you learn the facial expressions of spock though most of them look so similar. " captain why would you risk your crew for 1 person it is not logical."

" why do you risk your life for me and jim ? Why do you deal with all of us stupid illogical people? Because your family you stupid hobgoblin and we protect our family to the end! So you are gonna do what the captain tells you and we are going to save that girlfriend of yours. Ok?" bones yelled. Clearly he was getting angry. "Alright bones spock and I are going to get melody back. Mr sulu you are in charge. Mr Scott be ready to beam us back aboard at a moments notice." I said and in a matter of minutes we had our phasers and communicators and we were ready to beam over. " Mr.Scott energize" I said and we were gone.
