Spock's POV

by the time we got to the lowest level of the ship melody was passed out in my arms. I was unsure as to what to do with her know that she was safe. For the first time in a long time I wished my mother were here so I could speak with her. " doctor, I suggest you check captain melody for injuries she was beaten pretty harshly by the klingons."

" no spock I thought I would just leave her injured." McCoy said his voice filled with sarcasm.

" if you were to do that it would be highly illogical doctor because she could have life-threatening injuries." I said

" that was sarcasm spock" kirk said.

"Oh, I see" I said to the captain

I walked up to the cupboard and opened it with one hand a few seconds later josh's face poked out " MR.SPOCK!!!" he said with a smile

" hello young one" I said he immediately climbed out of the cupboard. "Are we going on your ship now?" he asked.

"It is not my ship it is captain kirk's ship but I suppose the captain would not want to leave you here so yes." I said

McCoy's POV

as spock was talking to the little kid I watched the door. Jim seemed to be watching spock with a look of concern on his face. I thought I heard a loud noise and then the stair way was filled with klingons. " uh I hate to break this very cute moment but we have company!" I said. Spock looked at jim and jim picked up the kid, communicator in hand he began yelling orders to Scottie. Spock was following close behind kirk. It was then that I realised that green hobgoblin isn't even breaking a sweat

" you aren't even tired are you spock" I yelled. I swear I seen that Vulcan smile just a little. But he only said "it is illogical that you are worrying about my exhaustion doctor while we are escapeing you should worry about your physical exhaustion."

"Oh shut up spock" I said then I realised we were at a dead end.
