I really want to do chapters on other characters in the book and I don't want to include it the Brandon and Dorothy's chapters because it's their book. So
For every non- Thydon chapters, there will be a triangle (Δ) before the title like this chapter.

Keith's pov.

You would think being part of a new pack would mean less stress.  The rogues here are really finding it hard to understand the meaning of 'packs'. Every minute that goes by, they are at each others throats especially the males. 

"lets get this straight, you dislocated his arm because he took your duvet?" I asked the man who was glaring at the one with the injured arm.

We've been given a place to lay our heads till the introduction ceremony and these buffoons are busy fighting over everything and anything. Earlier today some people were quarrelling over who gets the top bunk, few minutes ago some other two were arguing about if the Alpha had a mate and it ended in a fist fight.

Maybe it's their hormones making them engage in stupid arguments or something else but whatever it is, I'm really not a big fan.

"you stupid mutts better not blow up this chance we've been given because if I end up not making it fully into this pack" I said moving closer to the one with the injured arm and applying pressure on the arm before popping it back into place "I will hunt you down and make you pay"

They all started laughing like I just cracked the funniest joke. Stupid bastards. What am I even doing here?

"what can you do. Females are nothing but weaklings" a guy with a shaved head replied with a smirk. While the fool I helped with his arm nodded his head in agreement.

So much for being nice.

"you know what, tear each others throats out for all I care. It's your loss really, I become a pack member and live in the pack house while you go bye bye and back to the woods, hungry or killed. We both know this idiot who got his arms dislocated is going to rip you apart the moment you are both sent packing. Both of you do not have a place here if you are that stupid with your thoughts"

I walked out leaving them to themselves. Male wolves are such egoistic and prideful losers that's why I'm not hoping to find my mate anytime soon.

I grew up with very irresponsible parents who felt complete with each other. My dad and my mom were both lunatics with no sense of responsibility.

They just did whatever they felt made them happy and left their pup to look out for herself. That's what having a mate does to you, it makes you blind, every other thing doesn't matter as long as you have your soulmate by your side and I won't risk it, never. Their stupidity got them killed.

For five years I've been alone, looking out and fending for myself. Training and surviving all by myself so no dumb male will take advantage of me.

I stepped outside the building inhaling the fresh smell of pine and citrus. The weather was absolutely amazing and the night beautiful.

If Dorothy were here, she would have been so proud of how well I handled the situation back there. Only the goddess know where she is. I've been asking everyone about her since we got here but no one has seen her.

I plan to meet the Gamma tomorrow to help me check if there's any record of her. That's if I make it till tomorrow in the pack. I'm afraid I might end up strangling someone to death before dawn.

Picking a couple of stones, I toss one towards the sky and watch as gravity pulls it back and into my palm.

"nice catch" a strange voice said behind me.

If only I had not turned around or remained indoors, I might have escaped the sight of what I hated the most.

A mate.
