I'm going to be busy real soon and I've got other works I would like to embark on so I want to complete this book and concentrate on other projects so when y'all are ready to support the book, it's gonna be on my profile, completed and ready to be read.
Thank you for your patience and support so far... This book has gone more than I would have ever dreamt of and for that I'm deeply appreciative. This chapter, I was really mad writing it... My Dylan 🤧

Dorothy's POV.
Brandon, Alice ,Amanda and I all gathered in the tiny box room.
All worried.
All hopeful.
I looked at a very injured Clinton and tears welled up in my eyes. Several deep wounds scattered themselves all over his chest and face, some deep while others aren't so deep.
I stayed quiet, soaking what Brandon had said in,
'whosoever did this has declared war'
War.
War.
War.
War.
A cold shiver ran down my spine at the echo of the word. My mind clouding itself with worry. Just a three letter word with so much weight. The prospect of going to war made me weak, weak to my bones
Clinton's battered body laid on the steel hospital bed, unmoving. His eyes remained shut,a tight frown danced on his face just like it's been for the past one hour.
Amanda sat by his bed, her frail hands gently tracing his laugh lines while the other rubbed her belly soothingly, her little bump barely visible.
I was as surprised as Brandon when we saw her cradling the little baby bump, whispering apologies to Clinton for not telling him about their little creation and pleading for him to open his eyes, for their baby.
"Amanda, I think that's enough. Why don't you go home and take a rest? I promise I will look after him" Alice said, her fingers resting on Amanda's shoulder.
