I'm Russell Reyes but call me Russell. I was born in Chicago to both Filipino parents, finished my education there. I moved here in the Philippines after meeting the boys and I want to discover more of the Philippines.

I am currently downstairs watching TV. Until Tristan sat beside me.

"Bro". Tristan said

"Bro, your home"!

"Yeah". Tristan said

"I still can't speak fluent Filipino despite that I've lived with you guys for more than 3 years already".

"Bro, you need to study it more often. We are here to help you. Actually, Ford can help since he can understand English and Filipino though". Tristan said

"Ford has given me so much lessons, but he is the most patient person I know because I don't easily understand the words and how it is pronounced, but he doesn't get angry and is still passionate on teaching me the words properly".

"That's why you should be thankful that Ford is patient for you, compare him to Joao". Tristan said

"True. Ever since Ford began teaching me Filipino, it seemed easier for me to learn".

It's true that I enjoy learning with Ford around.

"Bro, why didn't you study Filipino before"? Tristan asked

"It's because my life in the US was happy but everyone speaks English. My parents speak Filipino at home but I don't understand anything their saying so I always ask them to translate what they said".

"How will you get Janella's heart when you couldn't even speak Filipino"? Tristan asked

I suddenly felt something about what Tristan said since he is right about how I could get to Janella's heart without knowing how to speak my mother language.

"You're right. I should really learn Filipino so that she would appreciate that I could speak Filipino. She has foreign blood but can speak better Filipino than me".

"That's right, Bro. Joao is just like you.  He couldn't speak Filipino but good thing Sue understands English but Joao was desperate to learn Filipino so Sue became happier for him". Tristan said

"Just want to ask, how did Ford get to Loisa's heart so easily"?

"I don't know. Why don't you ask him? He's just a floor above you". Tristan said

"OK".

So I left Tristan to do his things so that I could go talk to Ford.

I knocked at Ford's room.

"Russ. Come in". Ford said

"Thanks".

"What's the matter"? Ford asked

"I just want to ask you on how I could get to Janella's heart?  Like how you got to Loisa's".

"It wasn't simple, Bro. I underwent so much things before getting to Loisa's heart. Remember when we all left to study abroad, I left her back here while I was all the way at the other side of the world. It was the greatest challenge in our relationship since I was courting her during those times". Ford said

"Was being in a long distance relationship hard? Even though you weren't together yet".

"It was quite hard because I had to do my best to contact or see her even though the time there was totally different from hers. I would stay up all night just to be able to chat with her. I would frequently call her just to know how's she is, how school was, what she is doing, and how her day was". Ford said

"When we came back, how did you get to her heart after 4 long years in London"?

"I did the usual date I would have with her, have dinner outside, give her flowers, write letters for her, fetch her and take her home. After three months, I levelled up to bringing her to road trips and to the important places in my life, but still maintained the flowers and fetching and taking her home. But I also sang for her favorite songs and played guitar for her too. After a year, she finally said Yes. All my efforts were worth it because I got the answer I've always wanted to hear". Ford said

Then I remembered that dinner is ready.

"Are you going to stay here and rest and we'll bring your dinner up here or you'll come down and join us"?

"I'll just stay here, I still have a headache now". Ford said

"OK then. Papadala ko nalang kay Bunso yung pagkain mo".

Ford was surprised to hear me speak Filipino because it was 6 months since I last spoke Filipino.

"Wow. Your Filipino is becoming even better now". Ford said

"Of course. I learned it from you. I'll go ahead now".

"Ok. Thanks though". Ford said

So I left Ford's room and went to the dining table and saw everyone having lunch without me.

Next Chapter.... Lunch Time

*Sorry if Ford's POV is not done yet it's because it will be after the Lunch Time update. *
