❝we're not from Hogwarts❞

Cassandra rubs her eyes as she stirs awake, trying to figure out where she was. It only took a look at the bedsheets and the wall paint to figure out she was in a motel room. But how did she get here?

Slowly sitting up, she notices the three boys from the day before sitting on the other bed. Their head turn instantly to her and Connor smiles, whilst the other two just stare at her.

"Why am I here?" Is the first thing she asks, brushing her hair behind her ear nervously.

"You were too exhausted last night to go home, and you said something about your car not working," Connor smiles softly at Cassandra. "I thought it was safer for you to sleep up here than getting your car fixed and driving home."

"Thank you but I should probably go now," she says quickly, wanting to leave as soon as possible. She felt awkward when all three of the boys looked at her, not moving the eyes from her body as she slides on her shoes.

However the boys didn't want her to leave—they wanted to do some tests to see if she really is the one that could save James.

As she opens the door, Tristan slams the door shut while he holds his hand up, conjuring a gust of wind that closes it.

"Actually," Tristan says, his jaw clenched. She jumps back from the door and turns to face them, not sure how it had suddenly closed whilst she was opening it. "We wanted to take you somewhere."

"I-I need to get home. My parents might be worrying," she was quick to decline their offer but she knew deep inside that her parents weren't worrying about her at all, and that they were probably going to make her go anyway.

"She's scared of us, pack it up," Connor rolls his eyes at Tristan's intimidating stance and Brad pulls Tristan down next to him on the bed. "Are you hungry? We can take you to eat somewhere and explain what we meant."

Knowing that she wouldn't be able to leave this room without talking to them about where they wanted to take her or agreeing to go somewhere to eat, she nods, her heart thumping. She didn't know these three boys, only their names. She couldn't help but think the worse—they'd hurt her and kill her or rob all of her money or something else that was utterly ridiculous.

Connor is the first to stand up, putting his own shoes on. "Don't be scared." He wanted to reassure her, feeling sorry for the poor soul that they were going to have to take with them for testing. She didn't know that, but they did.

"How can I not be scared when you guys are magically closing doors?!" Cassandra sighs. "Are you from Hogwarts or something? Because if so, you can bibbity bobbity back the fuck up because I'm not a wizard."

"We're not from Hogwarts," Connor reassures, a smile on his face. She was anxious and nervous and they could all hear her heart thumping against her chest quicker than they thought was humanly possible. "Is there anywhere you go for food around here? We don't know our way around or where shops and stuff are."
