❝thanos of the real world❞"Simon," the man stands up slowly off of his chair, noticing Cassandra and the boys stood behind the man now known as Simon. "Who are these people?"
"People? They're not people," Simon chuckles lowly. "We've found more of them, Ethan. we found more Elementums. Came to get their friend."
Ethan grins mischievously, jumping down off of the steps leading to his throne, "brilliant! Absolutely brilliant. Their friend? Which friend?"
Simon pushes Connor forward and Connor scowls at him before composing himself, "James."
"James? Oh, James!" Ethan giggles. "I remember James. Kind boy, promised he wouldn't tell us where his friends are, but guess they're here to rescue him!"
"Give us James back," Connor snarls.
"Why would I do that because a little boy asked?" Ethan laughs halfheartedly, stepping closer to Connor. "My dad, you know, has been researching your kind for his entire life. He wanted to know how you worked and then he was hungry for your powers, too."
Brad holds Cassandra closer.
"He never found a way and when he died I promised to take over his legacy. I built this empire," Ethan laughs. "I became an ally with The Figuras and have been finding your kind for years now, continuing his research."
Ethan traces his fingers over Connor's jawline before glancing at the three stood behind Simon.
"You all have elements, which ones?" Ethan says, his lively personality changing to serious as his face falls. He looks at Connor, an eyebrow raised.
"Why should I tell you, you ugly—?"
Ethan chuckles, "I would tell me, if I were you. I'd hate to force it out of you."
"How would you do that?" Connor challenges him but Ethan just sighs, turning on his heels.
"You know, I'm trying to be nice, welcome my new residents," Ethan explains. "So I'd appreciate it if you just tell me instead of making this more hellish for yourself."
Ethan turns back around, looking at Tristan and raising an eyebrow. He purses his lips, his eyes taking in every inch of the blonde boy.
"You, blondie, what's your element, hm?"
"Wind," Tristan says instantly, not testing Ethan. Simon stood to the side now, a sword in his belt, ready to attack. The clothed men that attacked outside were no where to be seen, now.
"See, your friend will co-operate," Ethan laughs at Connor, causing Connor's fists to clench. "I'll ask again, what's your element, boy?"
Connor's eyes squint slightly, his head tilting up, "water."
