(Rubapphire) Change!

Chapter 5: Painted in red

Sapphire POV:

I dragged Ruby to the nurse office. Good thing that the corridors were empty so there are no students to slow us down. We were walking in silence well more like fast walking. ' What was Ruby doing? Why the hell did she broke a glass? Maybe it was an accident? Ahh... I get so annoyed when I don't know something. And this...this is just burning in me.' " Umm...Sapphire?" Ruby said but I didn't look at her ' She will probably want to let her go or slow down but this ain't happening.' "Sapphire?" I kept silent then Ruby started to get heavy to drag " Sapphire can we stop for a sec?" she asked and I shaked my head in refusal " But-" " Look Ruby I know that you think that is nothing to worry about but still I have to get you to the nurse office." I said to her a bit coldly and tighten my grid around her arm "Oww..." I heard Ruby and turned around....

I was in shock her blood was only on her palm when we were in Rose's office but right now it covered most of her arm, her bandage were drenched with blood and some of it dropped on the floor " Hehe... That's why...I wanted you to stop for a bit." Ruby said nervously with a weak smile on her face. ' Oh god! My grid must've been too tight.' I though still shocked. ' How can I be so stupid!' I am angry with myself now..." Ruby I am so sorry. I should've noticed earlier I-" she raised her other hand in a sing for me to calm down " It's ok... No need to apologize." I look at her she was smiling so nicely. I shooked my head and looked down " You lost so much blood only because I didn't listened to you the first time." I said. I felt tears to form in my eyes and my body started to tremble " Hey, hey. No need to cry. Come on!" she put her arms on my shoulders " Sapphire look don't worry. I can always regain the lost blood when I eat chocolate." she said and giggle. I lifted my head up and looked at her eyes ' No sign of lying.'  " Plus if anyone should be crying here. I think it should be me... after all I cut myself and made you and Rose sick worried. So we are even." she said and winked at me. I blushed and smiled at her cuteness " But still I am sorry." I still felt guilty. " I am sorry too." she said I was confused ' why is she apologizing?' " For what?" she sighed " Well I ruined your uniform with my blood." she pointed at my shirt it was all red and parts of skirt were in blood too. I didn't noticed it until Ruby showed me " Ahh...Don't worry about this... I think it will get off." I was unsure what to say at this point we were both in blood.

I heard giggling I looked at Ruby and her giggles soon became laugher. ' What is so funny?' " Umm Mind if you tell me what's so funny?" she tried to calm down her laugher " ok, ok...give me a sec." she said and bursted into laugher again " I am sorry but Sapphire look at us. We are both drenched in blood and if someone asks us what happened we can always tell them... that we are cosplaying characters from ' Walking dead'." as she finished her sentence I felt a smile cross my face then I started to laugh with her.

* RIIIIIIIIING*

" The bell rang." Ruby whispered. We stayed in the corridors like scared animals. No one dared to move. We saw as the students filled the corridors. I looked at Ruby her face showed panicked ' Is she scared...of them?' The next second Ruby was running away from me as the many people filled the corridor. It took me a minute to release that I was all alone standing in the corridors drenched with blood. ' Should I run after her? I guess it's no use I won't get through this crowd due to my small figure.' I sighed ' At least I was able to apologize to her and become friends now.' 

" Yo Sapph...WOW ARE YOU OK?" I heard Amethyst's voice but I couldn't see her. I felt somebody grab my arm and drag me out of the crowd. ' Finally I could breath.' I saw Amethyst staring me with shock I was a bit confused and then It finally hit me. " Oh don't worry this is not my blood." I said calmly still looking out for Ruby " That makes me even more worried. Who did you kill? And why I wasn't invited?" she yelled " No need for yelling now. Where is Lapis?" she was missing which is unusual she hangs out mostly with us " Ehh stalking some girl." Amethyst shrugged ' That's odd?' " This doesn't sound like her." we started walking to our classroom " Well she said that she is going to meet a girl but knowing Lapis she will just stare at her until the bell rings." I giggle a bit " Well we can't judge her you know her previous relationship was a horror." I nodded in agreement. We reached our classroom when we saw Lapis coming looking really sad. " Hey Lapis. What's the mood?" Amethyst asked while we were entering the classroom. We sat on our desk and Lapis let a long sigh " Awful. What's yours?" she asked " Mine is chilly." Amethyst answered " I am kind of fine." I said " What happened?" Lapis groaned which means that she doesn't want to talk.

" So after this class is lunch break. Any idea where do you want to go?" Amethyst asked trying to change the subject " I can't I have extra lessons." Lapis said " Woah dude they got you a tutor?" Amethyst yelled. I noticed that Lapis blushed " Yeah." " Ok how about you Sapph?" ' Should I tell them?' " Well actually I have a meeting?" I answered calmly " Mmm... I will read between the words... you have a date? With who?" I saw  the grin on Amethyst's face " First of I said a meeting and it is with my friend." Amethyst looked confused " Are meeting with Lapis because I don't know other possible person?" she asked. I looked her annoyed " Remind me again why am I friends with you?" I joked.

Ruby POV:

' Oh dear GOD! I almost died there.' I thought. I was hella tired from running but lucky me no one came in the school garden in this break. I breath in and out to calm myself ' Good thing they didn't notice that I was with Sapphire. They will ruin her life.' I sat on the grass. I looked at my hand the bleeding hasn't stopped. I don't know how much blood I lost but I am starting to feel dizzy ' At least I was able to protect her.' I thought then everything went black.

Hey guys so this chapter is the symbol of my freedom because the school finally started. And since this is important year for me I will not be able to update that often. But do not worry I will try to update once a week or if happens that I don't update during the week I will update at the end of the Month.
