Chapter 6: Missing

Hehe well I kinda forgot to put a title on this chapter. So yeah sorry...the chapter is called 'Missing' like my title :D

Sapphire POV:

My class finished which means that it is lunch break now and that means that I will get to see Ruby. ' By the way where did she go?' I thought while walking in the crowded corridors. ' Maybe she is at that three?' I changed my direction. Lucky me I was finally entering a corridor that is rare seen by students. While I was walking my phone buzzed. I opened my bag and pick my phone. I have got 3 messages from Lapis ' Isn't she suppose to have an extra lesson now?' I tapped to see the messages. 

Lapis Lazuli: SAPPHIRE!!!! ( she had spammed Sapphire's name.)

I sighed ' It will be foolish of me to ask her about the spam. So I will act cooly.' 

Sapphire: Hey, Lapis.

I closed my backpack and started walking again. 

Lapis Lazuli: It's an emergency!

' What could it be?' 

Sapphire: Really?

' Lapis is a good friend but sometimes she is such a drama queen. She overreacts often and I got used to it but I am still struggling.' I looked around to make sure that I am going the right way. ' I suppose it is something with the homework or the tutor sucks and she wants to complain about it to someone.'

Lapis Lazuli: Google me some pick up lines.

' What?!' Sapphire.exe stopped working.

Lapis Lazuli: Sapphire? You there?

Sapphire: Please try again later.

I closed my phone ' Pick up lines really Lapis. Isn't she suppose to study?' sometimes she is just unbearable. I walking in the quiet corridor not paying attention to my surroundings. 

" Sapphire!" someone yelled " What?!" oops I let my feeling slip away. I turned around and saw a tall and slim figure " Oh Pearl I am sorry. What is it?" I asked. I could tell that she was shocked she was wearing that ' what the heck' face but soon changed. " Ohh...uhm..." ' What's making her feel so uneasy?' " Pearl I am in a hurry so if it's not that important can you tell it later?" she took a deep breath " Well... part of it is about Ruby and the other is... uhm." " Ruby!" I cut her off before she could finish " Yeah I suppose you want to hear about this first." I nodded " Well as you know she is a... well... a troublemaker and uh..." I got angry ' If she is going to say something heartbreaking then say it fast!' " And you know how troublemakers are...uhm...how should I say it... supposed to make a chaos and when ehmm..." ' She is torturing me right now... and I think she enjoys it.' " When they are quiet...uh It means ... uhm bad news and..." " Pearl I know that  you are trying to tell me something important but can you please not make a whole presentation about it and get to the point already!" ' If she doesn't go to the point I am going to rush out of the building.' " Well...uhm the short version is that Ruby is missing since the first class." " WHAT?!" I yelled ' When was she planning to tell me this.' " Yeah Rose is searching for her and she wanted me to inform you." ' I would strangle her right know if I wasn't that short.' " Ok thanks Pearl. Is there something else you want to tell me?" I asked " Well have you seen a happy little boy with curly brown hair and flip flops jumping around?" she looked pretty nervous " No." she sighed " Well tell me if you see him and good luck...at finding her."  I nodded and rushed to the exit....
