Narrator POV

Reading a book in her semi newly decorated room in the covers of her striped bed sheets, Luma sat snug in her bed after being discharged out of the hospital early last week. Although her fever left her, she was still a tad bit sore.

She looked toward the ray of sunlight hitting her gently from the window smiling softly from her recovery. As she turned her head back to her "Adventure Rules Guide Book," a hand made book she received from her father whose pages are nearly falling from the spine. She was enjoying her rest from her wounds, until a small knocking could be heard from outside her room.

"Luma, I just wanted to let you know you have a visitor."

"Who?"

"You should know who it is, silly."

She quickly paused and looked to Gladion who was waiting along with Lucia. She looked at him from head to toe and turned back to the door.

"Blonde hair with slight fringe... uhh..."

She turned back to him again and back to the door.

"He has Green eyes, in his teens... you're in your teens right?"

He nodded without saying a word, albeit dead panned.

"really edgy attire-"

"it's Gladion, isn't it."

She turned back to Gladion and mouthed 'what' in a surprised manner, even though he was pouting from Lucia's description of him.

"How did you-"

Quickly backing away from the opening door, Lucia backed up and witnessed her daughter's smirk as she opened the door while holding her worn and torn book.

"Well I mean, are there any other blonde edgy teenagers in Alola. I don't think so."

"There are just as many 'blonde edgy teenagers' as there are reckless white haired champions..." Gladion worded under his breath.

"I'd prefer the way you called a... what was it, oh yeah, 'tempest," she stuck her tongue out, gaining a chuckle from her mother.

"Alright then, I'll leave you crazy kids alone. If you'd like, I can make some snacks."

"You don't have to do that," both Gladion and Luma tried stopping her but were quickly interrupted.

"Too late, I already have something in mind. Can't stop me now."

As she quickly ran away from the door leaving the two dumbfounded by her decision. A nervous chuckle escaped from Luma.

"Anywho, what brings you here in my humble abode?"

"I went to the hospital, but heard from one of the nurses that you were just discharged. So I decided to stop by here. And I... sorry I wasn't able to visit too much after the last time," he answered.

"It's all good. Time flies when they actually let you have at least one Pokémon with you in the hospital. Any who, you sure Aether can go much longer without their president?"
