Also, it's my birthday! So I may be doing a fact chapter to share a tiny bit about myself if you guys would like to read that since I feel like we should get to know a tiny bit about each other.

Meanwhile, a little after the events of the last part

Narrator POV

Aether seemed to be business as usual with its usual crowds of employees, scientists, and some clusters of civilians. however, outside the workplace, is the mansion. and in between is the courtyard, where Gladion was seen to be vigorously training his Pokemon for an unknown reason under the sudden guidance of Wicke, who was just passing by in a minor fit of unsettlement, talking on the phone with a certain pair on the other line. As soon as their conversation concluded and they had an equal juncture.

"are you sure you want to proceed with this, young master? This will be nothing like the last time you two battled."

"I already know that," he responded. "but will you be okay handling the Foundation on your own while we're capturing those things?"

Wicke nodded with her giddy grin, assuring Gladion that she will have things taken care of.

"you should get some rest now. You wouldn't want you or your Pokemon to be too exhausted."

Next Day

Luma's POV

okay, good to finally wake up well rested! not to mention I'm armed and ready for these missions! after watching a couple episodes of this cartoon I've been somewhat obsessed with and eating breakfast with mom and Meowth, I rode on Charizard all the way to Route 8 on Akala Island with the Beast Ball containing Xurkitree in my inventory. Before entering the motel room, I did some quick morning stretches, yawned some, and made my way to the familiar looking green door, opening it with gusto. I was then greeted by the two UB Task Force agents Anabel and Looker.

"Morning!"

"Ah! Young Luma! are you feeling better?" Looker questioned me astounded while I Closed the door behind me. He must've thought that I wouldn't come back after the last mission... Haha, like I'll ignore what's going on here.

"But are you certain you want to continue with these missions alongside us, Miss Luma? Even knowing what will lie ahead-"

"I'll be fine, you guys. Last time had just led to some... unfortunate events. But just because I suffered some serious wounds, doesn't mean I'll ignore what the heck is going on in the region."

Now that felt good. Speaking my mind like that. But man, the look on their faces after registering what I just iterated was pretty priceless. That and it made me feel a bit of relief after they let out heavy sighs of solace.

"You really are a benevolent girl, Miss Luma. However, we can't let what happened on the last mission happen a second time. So in order to prevent that, we decided to recruit you a partner."

Partner?

In my own alarmed fit, I look to see the same green door I entered from open unhurriedly. What happened next... now that really astounded me.

"Hope you don't mind we let ourselves in."

"Officer Nanu? You're my partner?"

Nanu looked to my direction and shook his head in disagreement. Looking behind him.
