His rough hand ran against the sleek silver blade, his leg swinging back and forth against a wall. His eyes flickered down below where people were training for combat. He was skinny, a good-looking guy; he has piercing red eyes that are often hidden behind black sunglasses that are currently resting on top of his head in his brown hair that is long enough to get tied in a small ponytail. He has a dark skin tone, red fingerless cloth gloves on hid hands, dark brown boots with black jeans, a red ruby amulet around his neck, a scar on his cheek that is just barely visible, a dark green hooded cape with a sheath that is strapped to his back. He rests his head backward against the wall he is leaning against. That's when a short girl walked up to him.

"Commander Adam Skylen." She said. Adam turned he head to look at her.

"Miranda." He said. Miranda Ryan, she had pale skin and was pretty short; a small crescent moon tattoo ink in her cheek just below her right eyes, she had bluish-violent eyes and long wavy golden-brown hair that reached her back, the Squid Army symbol is branded on the back of her left shoulder, she also has a navy blue shoulderless top that has a white dreamcatcher printed on the front, black boots with black leggings and an emerald earring on one ear. Miranda leans against the wall besides Adam.

"So, I've seen the new soldiers you guys got, they already seem scared of you." Miranda said. Adam looks over at the Training Grounds, staring at the newbies coming in. Miranda looks at Adam. "The King wants to talk to you."Adam rolls his eyes.

"About what exactly?"

"You know what." She said. Adam sighed.

"Don't you have someplace better to be?" Adam snapped. Miranda stands up straight.

"I don't even know why I bother talking to you." She said before she walks away. Adam gets up and walks into the castle. Adam pulls up his hood, as he walked down the halls, people quickly moved away from the Commander and guards straighten up in their spots when they spot him. The Commander is said to be a cold-hearted person that is in charge of the Royal Guard and the Squid Army, no one really knows what happened to this once great hero to Inshire, but most know that in order to get to the King, you must get through the Commander which no one has ever been able to do. The Blackwell Kingdom knows Commander Adam's capabilities too well, which is why that any uprising that form within the Kingdom doesn't last because either the Commander or the Commander's friends squash it. His friends being major-General Ian Sterling and High Captain Max Hersh. Adam entered the throne room, he went out a few steps, seeing the Squid King on the golden throne. Adam looks away from the King. The Squid King is a squid hybrid, tentacles extended out of his back, half of his skin is a blue color, a golden crown sat on his head and wore a red silk robe with fur resting on his shoulders. Adam stops a few feet away from the throne.

"Clear the room." The King said. Adam crossed his arms as guard filed out, leaving the two alone. The King looks at Adam. "Why am I being told that a certain person is still alive that you told me you had killed?"

"Okay...Who is it?" Adam asks confused. The King chuckles and than stands, he descends down the steps, stopping in front of Adam.

"So, you don't know yet?" The King asks. Adam shakes his head. "Jason Star is still alive." Adam chuckles.

"That's impossible, Jason is six feet under." Adam said.

"Not accordance to my information I was given. Miranda is trying to locate those two base of operations, I want you to bring Jason to me, alive." The King said. Adam uncrosses his arms.

"And if he doesn't cooperate?" Adam asks.

"I'm sure you will think of something. As long as Jason doesn't die, do what you need to to get him here." The King said. Adam nods. Adam felt one of the King's tentacles wrap around his wrist. "And I don't want to hear about any more of your slip ups..is that understood?" Adam flinched when he felt pain sting up his arm. He nods.

"Y-Yes, your..highness." Adam said. The King tilts his head slightly, before he could continue, the doors open and the King looks at someone who makes him grin.

"Ahhh...There you are, James."

Alesa chuckled lightly to herself when she sees that Mitchell feel asleep on the bed of his. She looked at Seto, he was still laying motionless. She bites down on her bottom lip, she hears someone walks up beside her. She looks up.

"Barney, where have you been?" She asks. Barney doesn't answer, but she stood when she noticed the guilt and dread on is face. "Barney, what is it?" He looks at her.

"I-I haves something to tells you...and I want yous to keeps it a secret." Barney said.

"Did your memory before your disappearance come back?" Alesa asks. Barney shakes his head, she looks at Seto. 

"Hows can that ever happens if I wasn't met to be heres in the firsts place..." Barney said. Alesa looks at him, her eyes widen.

"W-Wait..are you saying that...Why didn't you tell us you aren't from Inshire?" Alesa asks him. Barney looks away from her, his puts his hand on his arm. She goes to touch his arm but he pulled away from her. "Barney—"

"Is don't wants to talks about this anymores." Barney said, his voice trembling slightly as he walked away from her. Barney basically ran down the hallway, he pulled his hood lower to cover his tear-filled eyes. He went into his room and shut the door. He pressed his back against it as he gritted his teeth. 'What is Jason doing here? Why does Jason still have his memory intact while I can barely remember a thing? It's not fair. I..I want to remember who I really was.' He thought. Barney slid down to the floor, his tears falling down his cheeks. 'Why did I wake up with no memory and Jason woke up with his intact?'
