"Scars are evidence of pain people endured and grown from."
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Alesa grabbed Mitchell's arm.
"Mitchell—" He pushed her hand off him.
"Leave me alone!" Mitchell snapped at her. Alesa ran in front of him, almost making him crash into her, but he stopped, looking at her. She touched his arms.
"Stop pushing everyone away. You'll feel better if you talk to us." Alesa said. Mitchell's hands balled into fists.
"There's nothing to talk about," Mitchell said. Alesa gripped his arms.
"That's a load of bull and you know it. You were crying a few moments ago, don't you dare try to deny it!" Alesa said. Mitchell stared at her for a second, he looked away.
"I j-just want to be a-alone, is that r-really too much to ask?" He asked, his voice cracking. Alesa's eyes soften and she nodded.
"Yeah...considering you are upset. Why didn't you tell us? Why didn't you say anything to us? We would have helped you, you aren't alone—"
"We are alone, Alesa." He said.
"No, we aren't. We have each other and you would know that if you stop pushing people away when they try to help you." She said. Her hands move slowly down his arms. "So stop burying how you feel deep down, it isn't good for you to do that." Her hands touch his making his cheeks turn a light shade of pink before he pulls his hands away. He looked away from her.
"I-I'm fine." Mitchell stuttered. Alesa frowned.
"Really? You stuttered, Mitchell." She said. His eyes look at her, then looked away.
"Leave me alone." He mumbled as he walked past her. She turned around, she tried to grab his arm but a hand grabbed her wrist, stopping her. She looked beside her seeing Inshire Jerome.
"Let me talk to him." He said. Alesa looked away.
"Did I say something wrong or—"
"No, it isn't you. It isn't as easy as it is for some guys to talk about feelings like it can with some girls. So....maybe Ty should talk to him." Jerome said. Alesa nodded.
"Yeah." She said.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Mitchell didn't respond to the knock of the door, he just stayed laying in bed, his back to the door. There was another knock, Mitchell stayed silent. It opened, Inshire Ty holding Jeffrey in his arms came in. He shut the door behind him.
"Hey, can we talk?" He asked. Mitchell didn't answer, Ty put Jeffrey on the bed. The little piglet sniffed Mitchell's leg, he crawled over it and walked around over into Mitchell's view. Mitchell looked at him, the little pig sat, tilting his head making Mitchell smile at his adorableness. Ty sat on the bed. "Mitchell—" Mitchell loses his smile, he looks back down at his lap.
"Can we not? I just want to be left alone." He said.
"No, you helped me through Jason's death, and I'm sorry I ignored how you felt. I didn't think of it, I'm sorry. You shouldn't have to bury it down like this, you—"
