Anjana's pov

" I'm asking you something Akhil, answer me " I yelled.

"Why my father was thanking you? What he was talking about my illness? What treatment Akhil, damn answer me? " I screamed my throat out.

My throat is paining my feet imbalanced and I falled on couch. Akhil ran to help me but I jerked his hand. "Don't you dare touch me " I warned him.

He hold my hand and placed his palm over my hand I tried to jerk his hand but he hold it tightly and made please-stay-look I remained like that .

"OK I'll tell you everything first promise me you won't interrupt and you will trust me ?" he made a condition. Great now I have to work on his condition.

"Akhil listen... " I was saying but he placed his finger on my lips and shushed me "Will you trust me Anjana ?" how can anyone say no to these puppy eyes. I nodded and he removed his index finger from my lips.

The story begins...

" You were in a hospital with Maya two years ago where I first saw you. You were budging on every doctor and staff to care of your cousin sister Maya who was going to abort her unborn child. The way you were taking care of Maya literally made me flush over you. I mean I started liking you from that time .I was busy in work that's why I didn't try to communicate with you but later I tried to find you but staff members informed me you already left with your sister . After this incident I didn't try to find about you much but your face always remained in my mind . Then one year ago your father met my father in some party there they you know gossiping about lives, their children there they decide to unite us I mean my father know you from childhood but we didn't spend much time with your family as we frequently change our home due to daddy's work. My father choose you for me and your father was also happy with that decision but you were not ready for marriage. You warned your father not to talk about marriage like things otherwise you'll leave your house that's why uncle didn't inform you about this proposal and talked to me a year ago. There he showed me your image at first I was surprised with this co-incident then I get to know about your past. I'm a doctor Anjana , without meeting you I can say you are not mentally unwell. At that time I was not settled properly so I took one year for settlement. At this one year time I search about you and even stalked you some places. There I got to know that you're mentally sick.

This may be associated with particular regions or functions of the brain, often in a social interaction . A mental disorder is one aspect of mental health. Cultural and religious beliefs, as well as social norms, should be taken into account when making a diagnosis. Your diagnosis was not big for me but special because I was spending time with you to know you fully and this way I have to diagnose you.I have studied few cases of psychological issues with Aman so I thought to treat you. You are not mad Anjana just depressed mentally. I got to the conclusion that you're mentally weak when you tried to suicide. You remember around months ago you tried to kill yourself by cutting your nerves. Do you know who treated you at that time? " all his words are going round and round in my skull.

"It was me who treated you at that time, Jenny brought you at my hospital and I was assign for your case. There first time I talked to Jenny about your condition. I was aware of your past but wasn't able to know your main reason to suicide. You have attempt suicide one time this means you may do it again. Jenny informed me about your habit of consuming pills but due to unavailability of pills you lost your control and committed suicide. My curiosity increased towards you and I wanted to go depth in your case. The only person who can explain deep about you is none other than You. You only can explain what happened with you and why you tried to kill yourself and why wasted your ten years waiting for someone and lived alone. Six years ago your parents shifted to kolkata but you insist to stay here alone. That's was first mistake you've done , second to use those pills and third to commit suicide. A person who likes to live alone, talk less and consumes pills and even tried to kill oneself that person is perfectly mental sick. I informed your father about your health and assured him that this is not a disease to cure you just needed mental peace that may be i can provide. You needed someone to hold you and that I may do. He choose me as your husband and I promised him to take care of you. Aman insisted me to handle your case so I tried my best to treat you and see now you are perfectly alright. Jenny knows me before only but she didn't react after meeting me at your house may be she forget me.
Anjana I just took care of your health that's why your dad was thanking me. Your father knows about your suicidal attempts that's why he always orders to not to leave you alone at any cost. That's why you are always surrounded with peoples. After my entry he insist me to stay with you and I happily accepted that. Only your father, Jenny and I'm aware of your conditions. Your family know it well that you don't like to stay with them that's why they never came here but your father was always updated about your whereabouts. It's not a deal Anjana, I was just assigned for your treatment before our marriage so that you can start your life freshly."

Akhil's pov

I explained everything single thing to her, don't know how she will react now. I finished my words but she was sitting blank no movement...
She has to react properly otherwise my treatment would be wasted. I was treating her with interrogation which she thought that may be i wanna know about her past. Showing love and concern will surely cure mental disorders that what I tried to do. But that was not just for diagnosing her I'll always take care of her like this even if she's perfectly alright. I know it's too early but her reaction is much more important now. I'm taking a very big risk this can be big shock to her which may result in trauma attack but if she survived this shock and spill her emotions then she is fully diagnosed. Please Anjana react something I want to see your reactions. Now she should not use any pills if she did then all my efforts will be wasted.

"Anjana " I called her in a very soft voice. She gazed me with no emotions I can't see any emotions or I'm not able to read them. Then her eyes filled with tears and second what she said was beyond my expectations

"It means all your care, concern were just a part of my treatment. You were just diagnosing me and like a fool I thought you lo... caring about me because I'm your best friend. I'm such a fool na Akhil who believes every body so easily. Can you answer my one question? " she asked me nodded yes.
"Are you been paid for this? " Ooh freak I was not at all expecting this

" No Anjana you are assuming wrong, it was not my job to treat you I have done it purposely so that you can come out of your depression. It was my choice to treat you " what should I say to convince her.

"It means you ask me to narrate my past just for diagnosing me you wasted my time for explaining you my story just for the sake of treatment because you were already aware of it. You cleared my guilt of cheating Ravi just for treating me, you handle me when I was drunk was also a part of my treatment, you helped me in sorting Meli's problem was also your plan to treat me. That's why you saved me from Karan . Great Akhil just great you used my feelings to cure my illness. Isn't it weird that you help me to come out of my depression by pushing me in that darkness of stress again. " OK she is scolding me thank god at least she's reacting. Good Anjana express everything whatever you hold on your heart.

I can't say anything now because answering her any questions may lead to more misunderstandings.
"You know what, you treated me I'm thankful to you but you treat me just because of our marriage is not right. I know living with a mad girl may be difficult that's why you choose to treat me but Dr. Akhil Roy if you're changing me, my behaviour just for the sake of nuptial relation then I'm sorry because I can't marry a person who will change me and then live with me. Thank you for diagnosing me and sorry that I wasted your precious time but I can't marry you. " she said shocking me and left her own house while I was sitting like a dumb.
She left me because I treated her.

God I have to handle her but now I can't go to her she may hit me or kick me. It's better some one else should contact her. So you all can guess who could be the person.

In the call

" She left home crying....... No I didn't do anything...... Yeah but somewhere I was in fault.......Yeah you should talk to her,...... She is angry from me dude.....No I'm not gonna talk her now...... Please buddy go to her......., I'll explain you later the main reason...... Yeah yeah... She won't kill you.... She is hurt Siddharth.... She is angry from me.....
She threatened me saying she'll break our marriage..... I know she talks rubbish whenever she is mad.....
Hmm... Go to her..she will be at her usual place.....bring her to home when she will be in cool mood.....I'll be here only..... Hmm bye.... You too get lost. "

I hung up his call. I hope he can handle him . Hope for the best.
