Sunday

Robyn is 16 like me and Donaven. she was smiling and waved at me when I came down. I waved back and hugged her. She was wearing a purple dress and had curly hair.

"Happy birthday!" Robyn said happily.

"thanks" I said softly. we walked over to the cake. It said "happy birthday fire boy". I laughed.

"Light the candles" Donaven said. I smiled and fire came out of my finger and I gently put it on the candles. The lights went out and everybody sang to me. Oh how I love my life. I can't ask for a better life. I blow out the candles and everybody started clapping. we all ate some cake, it was marble. My favorite cake of all time. I can't believe that I am 16 already. I got presents, they were mostly money but I need money.

"Was there homework?" Donaven asked me.

"No" I said. He nod and then next to him, Robyn sat down and asked " how does it feel to be 16 steven?". "good" I said with a smile.

The next day it was Saturday and I have invited Donaven and Robyn to the skill. the skill is like a arena where two people attack each other to make some big cash. I looked at my phone and it showed no new messages. I went to my text and send a group text.

" hay guys, can you still make it?" It sent. I got up and took a shower and got dressed and looked at my phone again and it said 1 new message. I opened it. "sure man I can still make it!" Donaven texted. I giggled a little bit and then Robyn texted "yup still can too!". I texted "yay! meet me over here at my house at three".

I sent it and a minute later they both replied "will do".

I went down stairs and looked at the clock. 12:00 it said. I turned on the tv and saw the skill ad again. "come to your big show down tonight!!! order tickets now, before we get sold out!! I got some leftover cake and sat back down in the living room. I laugh and took my digi ticket out of my pocket. See instead of paper, we use digis. it is like paper but digitally and it fits anywhere.

We got the best seats in the skill. I looked at the clock and said 1. My mom came down in a rush. "work?" I asked looking at her run to the kitchen to get coffee. "yes, they called me at the last second to come in!" she said with a tone. my mom is a teacher at my school. it is weird but cool at the same time.

"that sucks, sorry mom" she smiles and said " it's ok you just relax on your day off, I will be home by 5" I said "ok" then she took off and was gone. Time went by and I saw the clock. 3:15 and the door bell went off. I got up and walked to the door and opened it.

"Hay man, you ready? Donaven said and right next to him was Robyn. "ya, let me get my shoes on." I put on my shoes and I put the passcode in and the door locked. We grabbed our phones and scanned our tickets and it teleported us to our seats. this is going to be good.
