Ever since you came into this world, you were my pride and joy,
You was my treasure, my perfect baby boy.
So just imagine, how I must have felt the first time that you
were sick,
It felt as if mother nature, had played a dirty trick.
I wished with all my heart, I could take your pain away,
and I still feel the same to this very day.
As you were lying in that hospital bed, and through those
tubes you were being fed,
Know that I felt all of your pain, praying to God to make
you well again.
I couldn't bear to see you, holding onto that pain,
I wished that I could kiss it, make it better again.
Just know that I love you, and will do whatever it takes,
If there was some way that I could take your place.
